This is a message to anyone who even thinks about purchasing tickets from this company. I purchased two VIP tickets for Oasis at Wembley for Saturday 11th July 2009. These were bought last October at a cost of £398. Right from the beginning I thought something was wrong when I didn't receive a confirmation email from them. I have tried several times to contact them by telephone . It never gets answered but just cuts off. I now know that I will never receive my tickets and its impossible to contact anyone !!
Emails just get returned . Basically they have taken my money with no intention ever of supplying me with my ticket. Always use ticketmaster and save yourself the heartache !
*Beware do not buy any tickets from this website. You will be duped and out of pocket*
I ordered 5x ACDC tickets at the O2 arena for Tuesday April 14th at £75 each. Their site looked legit. There was nothing to suspect otherwise. Money came out of my credit card when I booked in October last year. I guess the alarm bells should have started ringing when the details on my card showed up as D Hicks rather than First Stop Ticket Shop. I think me being too trusting. I even looked on forums and blags before I bought them to see if there was any adverse comments about them but nothing came up, so I thought they must be ok.
Someone actually answered the phone on Monday and Tuesday of last week when I rang to chase the tickets up. The lady said someone will call me back and that everything was in hand. I never got a call back. The phone now goes through to voicemail from since last Tuesday.
I even decided to pay a visit to their offices near Old St in London as I work near there as they have the gall to advertise “ you can pick them up in person from our London office”. It was just a PO Box. The company that ran the boxes just says they come to collect their mail every few weeks.
By this time, I knew I had been had. I so hope this blag comes up straight away when people google First Stop Ticket Shop, as it will then give everyone out there a decent chance of not being duped by these people.
