DO NOT GO NEAR THESE JOKERS WITH A BARGE POLE!!!!!
I got involved with Moneyworries after being put in touch with them after failing to secure a personal loan. I was promised the earth and that all my worries were over. Once they had secured my signature I never spoke to the friendly sales person again and she would never return my calls. I was told to send everything to Hannah Ross who must have received 50 e-mails and letters from myself - not once did I ever get a response. 12 months in I received a call from my Account Manager who promised to call me once a month to ensure everything was OK. I never heard from him again.
Contacting anybody at Moneyworries is impossible. They never answer the phone and never return your e-mails or letters. I once had notification of a county court judgement issued to me and forwarded on for assistance marking it as urgent. I tried to follow this up with a call with no success and 3 months later I received an e-mail response saying they would look at this.
In hindsight Moneyworries pushed me totally down the wrong route for me, but the most lucrative route for them. These jokers are not interested in you, they are a Sales outfit who are targetted on preying on desperate people. They charge for their services and caused me problems.
Sometimes they would not take out a direct debit, then the next month they would take out 3. Whenever I tried to reclaim any money they had wrongly taken from me, it was impossible to get back, and you had to cancel a direct debit or similar to ensure they did not take any more.
If in any financial trouble, there are many charitable organisations who will assist you with your financial problems free of charge and will advise on the best option for you, not for people like Moneyworries. I spoke to the national Debtline who were excellent - http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/. Never go with anybody that wants to charge you.
Moneyworries are simply awful and need to be avoided at all costs.
The last thing that you need when under financial stress is for a company like this to come along and make matters ten times worse with poor communication, and ultimately doing nothing to solve things. I strongly advise to avoid them.
Awful company, I have submitted a complaint to the FSA, and also trading standards, hopefully they can help. I may not get a refund but at least something will be done about them
Absolutely awful, very poor professionalism. I have paid a fortune in getting through to them. Fortunately i caught them twice at 9.30am, spoke to the same girl..only member of staff it seems, she lied, said that a certain amount had been paid in, then when i queried this, she said that management have just to 'release' it. I insisted in a friendly manner that i demand my money back, quoted the goods and services act 1982 to her, would of got more sense out of a monkey. Its been 3 months now, and if the money is not back on my account by friday, 6 Feb. Then i am suing them for the amount and 3 months interest. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE.
