I placed an order 23/8/09 and an hour later (due to many bad reviews, angry customers and news this company has already been made aware of to the OFT and WatchDog), I can cancelled my order. Six hours later, I am told you are unable to cancel the order as it has already been 'dispatched'. If you had read my email, you would have realised this did not need to happen due to my rapid alert to cancel.
I have contacted the OFT to seek advice about the order you have informed me has been 'dispatached' even though I gave you enough time to cancel the order and refund me the money.
They have told me if it does not arrive through the 'next day delivery' promise I am protected by the 'distance selling' regulations. I should have had my money refunded anyway but if you cannot deliver them now they are apparently 'dispatched' you would again be in breach on contract and you would need to collect them from me if I was not happy.
I want to emphasise I will be taking you to court to receive a full refund if they do not arrive by tomorrow. All of the consumer law protects me in this.
