We have just paid a resonable amount of money for thermal to change all our windows and front door from wood to pvc. The men who fitted them were very efficient, lovely, young chaps. Our house is now so much warmer than before and people in our road ask who fitted them for us. We have referred them to thermal and would refer anybody to obtain work from this company as they are well worth the money. You do get what you pay for and peace of mind.

My sister and I have recently had a sun lounger completed on the back of our house. We are very wary of any salesmen, due to the horror stories you read about or see on the television. Our salesman was a pleasant young chap, not pushy at all and gave us a competitive price. The office staff kept me informed about everything that would occur with any workmen and the workmen very lovely lads, hard working and clean. After all the bad things you hear, it is always advisable to get work off a respectable company and we both would inform people that Thermal Home Improvements are indeed a great company to do business with, highly recommended.

I was advised by a girl in work to get my drive done by this company, as they had done a great job on her's. The price was good, the lads were very thorough and the finished job is lovely, well worth the money I paid. They have been back and sealed it for me. I have just told my sister to get her back garden done and the company gave me £100 for recommending her. She gets her job done next week!

I have just had my windows and gutters finished by this company and the finished product has much improved the look of my bungalow. The lads worked hard and were very clean and tidy. I would recommend them to anybody who wanted a decent, reputable company.

have read comments from previous blagger. i must totally disagree as i found the company incredibly helpful and accommodating. my fascias and gutters are an excellent job, completed exactly as the salesman had said when he sold me them. would recommend to anybody and certainly will do in the future.

just had my facia's & gutters fitted, although the fitters did a good and clean job,i was dissapointed that what he fitted was not what was discused with the rep,i spoke to a gentleman in the office who told me the job was done correctly,i am not disputing that, after being quoted for one thing, then getting somthing else dos'nt seem correct, surley the rep should not be telling me one thing and the fitter telling me another ! the price i agreed on was for the work to be done on what the rep told me,when the fitter done it his way, it did not look like the product the rep showed me.as i said no complaints about the fitters but maybe this company should start sending the fitters out to check what is needed on the job first!

I am a 60 year old man and I have had windows fitted by this company, and I am very pleased with them the sales man called andy who delt with us was so nice and pleasant ,every think that he told us about what they do when they fit there job's was so true,we would love to do business with andy again so we will be giving him a call at end of June for block pavement ,I have work done by safe style & jones windows systems and there work is not even near as good as thermal home improvments 10/10 for the fitting team and 10/10 for andy the salesman, and this is the only company who has not sent a salesman out and ripped me off, not like safe style & jones windows systems who sent salesman out and sit there for hours trying to get a sale.

I'm really surprised to read the negative comments about this company. We recently had our drive block paved and we're really pleased with it. Everyone who we dealt with was helpful and friendly. The lads laid the drive in 3 days and cleaned up after them selves every day and even worked in the rain. I agree they are a bit dearer than other companies but I think they are really worth the bit extra. I'd recommend them to any one.

my husband and i recently had fascia and guttering to improve our home. this company were the height of professionalism. their cost for the job was not the cheapest but after requesting jobs to go and look at in the area, was definitely worth paying that little bit extra. the team that installed the work were a courteous and efficient set of lads. the whole job took a day and a half and they thoroughly cleaned the site after they had finished, as if they were never here in the beginning. my next door neighbour has now purchased the same product and is due to have his work done next week. we have just had the salesman out to price us for a conservatory, which we are hoping to go ahead with, once i get round my husband.

i recently searched for a decent fascia firm to replace my soffits and guttering on my house. i knew of this site, so checked out the firms in the running. in the end i went with thermal home improvements, who weren't the cheapest but in my opinion were going to the best all round job. my job was finished off at the weekend and i can safely say that i had no such trouble with the installers, the saleswoman or any of their staff in fact. the finished work makes my house look so much more appealing and finally no more leaking gutters. checking up is always a safe bet in my opinion but can i say now, for the record, i only have praise for thermal home improvements

i've just had my driveway block paved by thermal home improvements and i was really impressed with the service i received. the lads who were involved in the digging and laying of my drive were lovely and very professional. now that it is completed, it looks so much better than before. i'm so glad i went with them. their quote may not have been the cheapest of the 3 that we got, but you pay for what you get and it's worth every penny. i'd recommend them to anybody

i recently had 8 windows and my facia done by this company and i'd just like to state how pleased i am that i used this company. from start to finish, salesman to fitters, were all very professional and couteous. the fitters, both teams, were lovely lads. they cleaned up after themselves as they worked, leaving no mess of an evening when they left for the day. i kept them going with cups of tea but most of the time they were here all they did was just work away. the finished job is better than i expected and i have already recommended both my sister and a neighbour of ours from our road, who i know has just ordered facia for his house. all in all, a pleasure to deal with.

just checking up on my blog from last week. was wondering whether that lady gor her deopsit back, as i did? if she didn't, she should warn us all! if she did, shouldn't she apologise? if she doesn't do either, it's probably a hoax.

just read the blog about thermal home improvements. i bought off them the back end of last year, gave them a deposit of over £1000 for a conservatory, went into work the next day and found out my hours were being cut. i therefore cancelled my order. i went through the same procedure, had to wait 10 days and got my deposit back. they had rung me to ask me if they could do anything to help but couldn't, as it was my personal job that was problem. 6 months ago work went back to normal. i got my hours back plus extra, so i went out to buy a conservatory again. i give a small deposit to a big company based in childwall, changed my mind as i got a much better price off a smaller company in the same area. went to the 1st company to ask for my deposit back but their office in childwall was closed. by the time i found out where they were (down south) they told me i was outside the cancellation period so i lost my money. the smaller company in childwall i dealt with, who insisted on a 20% deposit then went bust. i've now lost over £1800. as you can imagine i wasn't very happy. in the meantime, thermal home improvements got in touch and it seems they ring up all their contacts every year. bearing in mind they sent me my money back, even though in took 10 days, i gave them another go. i said there was no way i would give a deposit, as the bad experience i'd gone through with the childwall comapnies. they said no problem and fitted the conservatory. when i was happy, i paid them. they even stuck with the same price as last year. to be honest if the complainant had waited a week, there was no doubt she would have got her money and by now, she probably has. the complaint seems petty or suspicious to me.

we unfortuinately gave these people a deposit and agreed to a quote , but after looking on the web and finding that you just cant find them in any search engine and they have supposedly been going for 39 years , alarm bells started to ring , we sent a cancellation form and 2 days later got asked why my husband explained we had changed our mind ,
the next day we were phoned by the office manager and asked again on our answer machine ,
we have now waited over a week for the deposit back so we phoned today and very off handedly told we would get our deposit back in a weeks time when the accountant who is the only person who writes cheques will next be in ,
we were told by the salesman the 2 people who deal with all problems and when we spoke to both of these people were told they dont deal with this type of thing , so as i said to them on the phone i am so glad i didnt get my windows done by them ,

we unfortunately took a quote from thermal home improvements and gave them a small deposit , then we looked on the web we could not find them at all and seeing we had been told they had been operating for 39 years alarm bells started to ring , we then read blagger and found they had a 4 thumbs down rating ,
we sent off a cancellation form and 2 days later were asked why we had cancelled my husband spoke to the woman on the phone and said he didnt wish to discuss it ,
the next day dave the office manager left a message on our answer maching asking us to phone , today i phoned and spoke to dave who told me my deposit would be sent back in a weeks time when the accountant would next be in the office as he is the only person who can sign cheques ,
i phoned back again and my husband spoke to pat who said dave had just gone out and she didnt deal with that side of the buisness we had previously been told by the man who did the quote steve that only pat and dave worked in the office and could deal with any problems ,
i asked pat why we had cancelled a week ago and still had to wait another week for the accountant to sign the cheque , she was talking when i was talking so i spoke lounder to try and ask and she said if i shouted at her she would put the phone down ,
and kept repeating her and dave the only 2 that work in the office dont deal with that side of things , i realised i was getting nowhere and said , thank god i didnt get my windows done with you and that we have cancelled , i am so glad we did , a company that has been going 39 years and isnt on the web at all and the address is very sketchy we did go down to liverpool to look for the offices but were they are supposed to be is a closed down shop we think they are above this but there is no signs to let customers know ,we were also told the boss or gaffer as the sales man told us is a ruthless buisness man who would love to shut other companies down in liverpool , mmm hope we dont get a visit from him he does sound sweet , not.

They did not deliver what the salesmen promised.

I was told by at least 3 sales staff, including the one i signed the contract with that they fit Argon filled glass as standard, so i did not question that this was not specified on the contract - my naivety - but they did not say there was any other option.

The windows were installed in a very timely and professional manner, but they were not argon filled, they did not come from their own factory as promised, nor were they installed by their own fitters - they used sub-contractors (luckily good ones!) I have paid over the odds for an inferior product.

When I got back to the company about this i was told on two separate occasions "well, Salesman lie".

need i say more?
