My brother had a Hire Car from Avis which was arranged by his Insurance Company.
The car was nice but Avis wasn't as great as National Car Hire.
When the car was delivered my brother paid a £50 Fuel Deposit which was expected.
When I arranged for the car to be collected I asked Avis on my brothers behalf could they use the £50 Fuel Deposit to refill the car up as he was abit short of money, So they said no problem.
Well when the car finaly went back. It took them 4 days to pick it up though. I checked the guadge and it wasn't quite on the red and the computer said there was 60 miles remaining in the tank so more than enough for the driver to get back to the office.
Well last week my brother got a letter saying they wanted an extra £7 for Fuel. I did a check on the car he had and it only had a 45 litre tank.
My brother will tell the Insurance if he ever needs a car that he dosen't want one from Avis.
