Oops!!!

Just left a very positive blag but didn't notice until it went through that it was a three. I give Framebow a 1000% thumbs up (a zero)

So there!

I purchased a Framebow chicken coop (the big one) and we were kept fully informed as to production estimates and delivery time. When we spoke with them, no question was too much trouble, however dumb the question may have sounded and so we were very pleased with the service provided to us.

The coop arrived in the day but I did not arrive home until evening time in order to assemble it. Being a complete numpty, I wasn't quite sure how something went together so I telephoned Chris and, notwithstanding it was about 7.30pm, he took the time to talk me through things. The whole assembly went like a dream from thereon in and every single item fitted together beautifully. Bearing in mind that the whole thing is curved, I personally think that in itself is something of an achievement. It is well made, solid, gorgeous to look at, completely over the top and I love it!

Let me say this - it's not cheap at all, but when I looked at an imported coop a neighbour had purchased for £250 (and which will probably fall apart in a year or so), my coop and run might be twice the cost but it is a vastly superior product. Framebow win hands down every single time. Let's face it, when you are sad enough like me to buy a coop as a design statement rather than a purely practical object, you know that it is going to cost.

Me personally? Great company, great service, great product and YES, I would buy from them again.

I'm astonished by the comments on here about Framebow. I bought the Bow coop with external nest box and have been utterly delighted with the product. I had hundreds of questions prior to purchasing to the point that I'm surprised they wanted to deal with me as a customer but they were all answered politely, quickly and patiently.

People have noted the expense....I can only think they haven't really thought about the cost of materials, the time it would take to make something to the spec and quality, let alone take account of their fixed costs (e.g. van insurance, company insurance etc) their other costs e.g electricity, rates, rent etc.

On the day of delivery they were subject to some events out of their control however I was kept informed and they went over and above the call of duty working into the cold winter night.

I really feel for them having such negative feedback on this site as they are such wonderful hardworking and well meaning people. This isn't some faceless corporate money making machine of a company rather some people who are clearly passionate about what they do and how they do it.

Update…..

Had several phone calls from this company asking me to remove my review! I did point out to them that this is my opinion and I have the right to share this, they seemed to be pretty peeved about this and said I was harming their business. I told them if I wanted to be funny I could contact trading standards and demand all my money back as the stated height of the pen run was wrong, Its not 6ft. as I am 5ft 8 and I cant stand up in it. The reply I got was we have had to lower the height because the pen didn’t fit in the couriers van and we have several breakages!!! Is that my problem?

Again can I stress this is a great looking pen!

I don’t call it a cat pen because it isn’t and never will be. In my opinion a cat pen should have a second door internally for you to access your cat without it escaping! That’s why you have a cat pen to stop your loved animal escaping.

I made a big mistake buying something just because it looks good and regret it! DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

Update
FrameBow did try and resolve my issues but that was only if I removed my review which I was unhappy to do.

Ordered a cat pen was promised delivery 2 times and both times nothing arrived so lost 2 days holiday sitting at home. After sending an email complaining I did get a text message while i was at work to say my pen was delivered and left on my drive. errrr. It also had no instructions, what is this company like?! The pen is good looking but not worth the £1090 i paid! but i did and im gutted. I would say its worth no more than £800 and thats at a push. Customer service or lack of i should say.. Nice pen but i would recomend you see one in the flesh to make sure its what you want. i live in Hertforshire and wouldnt mind you contacting me to have a look at mine.. Mick@welwynmick.co.uk to help....

Ordered a chicken coop from them on 26 April - was promised delivery in 2 to 3 weeks but it eventually turned up on the 3 July, with various promised delivery dates missed, and little response to my emails/phone calls. When it did arrive there were no instructions, and when these were emailed not only weren't they very clear but they also had some errors which made assembly problematic. Also a few broken bits (not their fault) which they promised to replace ASAP but I'm still waiting over two weeks later. They keep promising to phone me back but hardly ever do. Quite a nice design of coop but I wish I hadn't ordered it as the customer service is so bad - it would have been nice to have had some kind of apology but that never happened
