Comments:

I have received two calls in two days asking for money for advertising (two ads) that I know I haven't taken. High pressured calls insisting that I have taken advertising. Amazing how I couldn't remember the cost! Been to FSB Legal team and have spoken to Consumer Direct. I am sick and tired of being hounded by advertisers, particularly those producing "government" type publications. I just want it to stop. I am at my witts end.

Further to my last comment. I have been in touch with Trading Standards. The Rochdale branch are aware of this company and have advised that it is very unlikely that they will follow through with any threats of legal action. Either contact Rochdale direct or do as I did and go through your local Trading Standards to get some good advice. Most important of all is don't let these people scare you into paying for something you haven't ordered.

I was called by sunny meadow in August claiming I had agreed some advertising with them in April. I knew that I hadn't for various reasons (not least that I had no recollection whatsoever of their call!) but they managed to convince me after a long conversation that I was in a contract and I couldn't get out of it. I realised what had happened when contacted by another company a couple of days later with an identical MO. They are now chasing payments. I asked for proof of contract and they sent me a recording of part of the conversation I had with them in August which obviously shows me agreeing but they deny any mention of previous contracts agreed in April. I can call their bluff over legal action but not sure how this will play now they have a recording of me agreeing and I have no proof of their original false claims.

these guys forwarded material after the usual hard sale, which was mean't to be on road safety, which they kept on calling me back after me hanging up, due to me driving at the time on the M6, which would of been better proofed by a 7 year old primary school pupil. when i refused to pay on grounds of poor quality, which after a call to the company they accepted as being sub-standard. despite this, they have threaten court action, due to non payment. i am loooking forward to meeting them in court (don't think they've got a leg to stand, hence won't happen!). have seen other blagger suggesting we all contact watchdog, which to me is a good call to eliminate this type of poor practice.

Please do not even go to the effort of paying a solicitor to deal with this company! They are dealing in empty threats and if people like me and you stick together we will force companies like this into closure. I was contacted again by this company yesterday because they wanted my email address to send my verbal contract. I refused to give them it and then they threatened me with court action. This is simply solved- tell them to take you to court- that is what I said and I will happily go to court to prove that companies like this are simply trying to extract money out of innocent people. Like I said though they wont take you to court- they are opertaing just within the law!!!!

We should all report this company to watchdog- other comments on this company would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Yet another advertising company who ring you up stating you have placed an advert and then chase you for payment! Now, I have been referred to their legal team because I have failed to pay for something that I didnt even want!!!!

I have contacted trading standards and consumer direct about this company. I would be eager to know if anyone else has had experience with this company.
