im with dudley council and just gone on waiting list to move and finally offered me a house
the one i in now lived in for 30 yrs i had tenencey chack and ive got to gutt my tiles and wall cladding before i move ive got 5 kids and having problems gettin out of ere really need help
the work top colappsed in my kitchen in june 08 well if u could call it a kitchen it consisted of 1 mt of work top 1 base unit and a sink unit .i contacted the council regarding this they cam out and took photos of this and i was told that it would be put in as urget so it wold be fixed .. they came out and gave me 3 very small wall units and put a new section in to support my work top .. i still wasnt happy with this and complained again and again as all the other house in the street had new fully fited kitchens put in where mine was just a mix of unmatching units and old work top .. i kept complaining .it is now 2009 this should have been resolved a long time agao . since january of this year i have sent 118 letters to them and been into ther offices that many times i have lost count .. i contacted my mp 2 months ago who has been fighting my case for me which has obviously done the trick as i have now been given a date of 2nd sept for the kitchen to be measured for a new kitchen and a completion date of 10 sept 09 .. i would mind but i feel i have spent enough replacing items that should have been done by the council . when i first got my home i it was in a poor state of repair and took me nearly 3 yrs toget to where it is now this has include replacing doors and the bathroom .but there wasno way i was going to pay thousands on a ktchen as if i ever moved they would not allow me to take it at least with the doors and bathroom i stored the origonals in my garage so if i do move i cant put there ones back and take my own with me
