Just cancelled my BT Broadband after years of truly terrible service and switched to Virgin Media - the difference is amazing, a 100pc improvement in net responses. The downside, BT have just sent me a final bill for £128. Forget about phoning their call centres for help - they're all outside this country and you'll be lucky to get through. Even when you do all they tell you is 'your service is good.' I will never ever use BT again and I'll be telling all my friends the same, a truly appalling, money-grabbing company who provide appalling service.
Poor reception and technical support who never answer your query or don't know how to. We signed up for broadband then 2mths later they updated the homepage, when contacted to ask how to remove settings on the toolbar that were'nt there before we were told that the homepage was no longer supported and we had to download Mozilla and access internet explorer that way if we wanted to edit the BT toolbar or we can pay a monthly fee for technical support! How can we sign up for a BT package only for it to not be supported by BT a month later?
