We bought plants from the rhs online plant shop run by crocus.co.uk and what arrived was shocking. Having seen all the lovely plants on sale at the wisley garden centre, but unable to take any home that day, we thought it would be a good idea to buy online. The standard that arrived was not what I would expect of the RHS, and a completely shabby selection compared to the garden centre. The clematis was weak and spindley, and the earth just fell away from the root ball of the rose. I could have got better in wilkos at a fraction of the price. When i complained to the garden, they said I would have to return them to the vendor, i.e. crocus.co.uk. When i called them, a terse girl declared that she knew better and had a whelth of experience, and i had normal plants. my verdict is that this online ship is one to be avoided.
