I was cold called by this company, twice. On the first occasion I politely told them that if I was interested in their offer then *I* would call *THEM*. I was very particular on this point; I stressed it several times. Guess what? I was called back the next day (even though I had asked them several times not to). I politely asked them not to call me again; the man on the other end of the phone then used abusive language towards me (which is illegal and can be prosecuted) and slammed the phone down on me.

Avoid this company

In January 2011 got cold call salesman from this company. The salesman was very convicing and after several calls I agreed for 1 month trial with the understanding that they would contact me within 30 days to see how the campain was going and if I did not wish to go further I could cancel over phone which I did as per ther terms. I have hust received a bully boy call today 22/6/2011 informing me that they will be sending in the debt collectors as I owe them money. I explained that I did in a call conversation cancelled this over the phone within the 30 days, they say it is not on their recording which I had said on several calls stating this even one to the manager. I phoned Era Marketing Ltd today they said it is on google which I replied that I have checked and its not. They came back and said its the way that I am going into google and they will send over instructions on how to type it in, I have never heard of this rubbish before, even got several people to go in and have alook for me they could not find it. They even gave me phrases that I did not ask for. I have reported this company to trading standards and my credit card company. In a nut shell I did not get what was promised and they convently misplace me saying cancel this within the first 30 days I paid £144 for 3 months and not getting my company name on google at the top pink. DO USE THIS COMPANY Neu Era Marketing Ltd BE WARNED.

Unfortunately i came across all these comments after i dealt with the company i have had the combination of about 3 of the problems mentioned below with the culmination of what was supposed to be the manager shouting at me, accusing me of lying despite conceding that the problems (costing over £300) were down to me and their own poor customer services and then hanging up on me. I plan on taking action against this - does anyone know the name of the MD there or the owner of the company etc?

this company called me early in the morning and caught me off guard the sales consultant offered to put my firm in the champagne coloured box for £70.00 so like a fool i agreed then checked my statement in the afternoon on the same day and they had taken £141.00 so i immediately knew something was wrong and called the office obviously quite bemused with this situation only to here laughter from a room full of tw*ts shouting lick my gi*ger ba*ls c*nt they sound like a bunch dog droppings soggy and wet

This company is truly terrible!! The reps lie to get your credit card details and the customer service is non-existent and never do what they say the will do. Result: they are basically stealing money from my account without an agreement and no-one will deal with it in their company or return my emails or calls.

Last december I was offered a one-off google adwords first page deal with 5 phrases for one month. The deal was to automatically cancel after one month, no strings I was told so I went ahead. £100 (which ended up being VAT of course). After the month TJ (the rep) told me that he would contact me to see if I wanted to renew or cancel. They never sent me any paperwork or terms and conditions.

The next month I got a bill for the same amount again for a continued contract. I wrote back and called. They claim that I am in a rolling contract that requires 30 days cancellation by post. I spoke to several reps at different times, one claimed she would listen to the original taped conversation between me and TJ and get back to me, she never did and never seems to be in. Another rep advised I should write immediately to cancel it while I am sorting out the refund, which I did. 3 different reps were supposed to call me back over the last 3 weeks and none of them have. I have sent 5 emails and no response.

Today I call and they now state that apparantly because I wrote the letter requesting cancellation I cannot get a refund! please!

Awful awful awful.. really bad business and very untrustworthy company.

Please avoid this company at all costs!!
I previosuly ran my own google adwords campaign via google which was working fine. This company contacted me in December and sold me a service which they claimed would be better than google adwords. They made lots of promises. After 2 days i had not recieved any invoice or welcome pack i chased them. I did not recieve any call from my account manger to discuss the campaign. I again had to call them. 30 days later the invoices and report you should recieve 24hrs before payment has taken is still not here. I have had to chase them again and again. I am still waiting for the report!! My leads have drastically dropped from my Google adwords campaign that i was doing previously. They have not been able to deliver what they promised. There is no refund!! They will debit money from your bank account despite them breaching their own policies. I have had to spend several hours trying to rectify this situation with cancelling bank cards etc. None of this is ideal when you are trying to run a business. I am reporting them to Trading Standards and Watchdog!!! Avoid

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! they promised me 8 key phraises and a holding page yesterday- once they took my card details i havent heard from them since! I have sent several emails to a guy called Daniel Williams- receiving nothing back! Have called a number of times only to be hung up on or told they will call me back- oh course they havent! Wish i had read all of this information on here before! Lesson learnt! They must of got my details from GUM Tree!
It did sound all to good to be true! NO NOT USE THEM! Now i'm going to have to change my card details so they dont take money from me in the future!

Just noticed a few good comments about this company and it sounds like people who work there are trying to rescue their reputation.
However, after i signed with them, it has been already 2 months, I still do not receive any service, further more, they ignore my calls, emails and even recorded delivery letter. Just yesterday, they told i receive my service when i actually do not!!!. I informed about all the problems on numerous calls, emails and also recorded delivery letter. When i manage to talk to someone on the phone, they all tell me different things and simply keep you as a fool! If you have money which you want to be thrown down the drain, then do business with this company.

Ive had a gd experience with this company. Been with them 5 months and i do not understand why people do not see the importance of internet marketing. We have seen a massive increase in the number of online orders...just one thing, you are better off emailing them as phone lines are sometimes busy. They deal with emails much quicker!!!

I couldn't disagree more with all these blaggers. I was contacted 7 months ago by this company when my business wasn't doing so well. I was a bit sceptic at first but I signed up anyway. Since then, business is booming again and I can't thank the company enough as I don't know where I would be now without them. I've been with them 7 months and plan to stay with them as long as possible.

 errol2000 at 30th Dec 2010, 07:37AM
After i gave my details to this company and signed up for the first 30days for £141 i saw Blagger. I was then really worried that i had been ripped off as i only have a small business and 141 is alot of money for me to pay out. But in the past 10days i have had alot of people contact me and alot more clients . Few bad comments on here that could of put me off going with the company but as i see it they must of helped alot more companies than me as i can only see a few bad comments!

 suewhalley at 29th Dec 2010, 02:21PM
I was contacted by this company 7 months ago, and I can not disagree more with the other blaggers. I was a bit unsure at first but thought I'd give it a try as my business wasn't doing so well. They gave me everything I was promised, and I've had so many new customers through google, as I do ask where they got my contact details. I've been with the company 7 months and since then business is booming again. A girl called Maryanne runs my campaign and she's a credit to the company.

Neu Era Marketing Ltd

Beware !!!!!!!!!
They have no respect for any one. I think this matter should be reported to the Police and they should take action against them.
They offered me One month subscription and if I am not happy with the response then Full Refund of £117.75 however after taking money from my Debit Card they have changed the Statement and said NO REFUND what so ever.
Beware !!!!!!!!!!
They don't provide any Service they get your details from GUMTREE or from Local Yellow Pages etc.
DON'T BELIEVE a single word from them.

 Kebabish at 18th Dec 2010, 06:07PM
They call many times, and i asked their offer for my Fitinfitness company , they do offer 50 % offer and plus , but i got experience before with neu era and no way ,do not waste your money

do not do it , even for £1

 murat at 1st Dec 2010, 01:26PM
I completely agree with below comments about this dodgy company! After paying for the service, i found out i was charged more than they told me,they did not refund me the difference, my campaign was never run, despite of 2 times confirmation that my service will start on the requested date. On the phone i was promised the situation to be fixed, but again it is same and they do not respond to any queries. I wish i had researched this company before agreeing on sale and passing my card details. The person who called me was very pushy and mislead about the service.
I learned a good lesson: never accept cold calling calls, never do any business on the phone with un-researched "companies".

 complaint123 at 1st Dec 2010, 12:42PM
I run my own website, this Company got my telephone number. Called me 2-3 times again and I said no thank you. Today Friday 26th Nov - received 3 calls before 12pm and so called and complained to a "senior manager" told him to STOP calling me.

That was fine but 2 minutes later received another call, told the adviser to put me through to the person I spoke to, told him to stop! and then 2 minutes later my phone went again, it was their telephone number, I asked to be put through to "the senior manager" before I could be put through they shouted my name in the background and all started laughing. Which was meant to be a practical joke of some sort?

I hung up, as I was reporting this Company to Trading Standards there were three more missed calls from them.

I like a joke as well as the next person but it stopped my business from functioning today because they tied up the line and it took me over an hour to report them to trading standards, the information comissioner and to serve them with a Section 11 Notice to stop them.

Like others before me, I was called in May 2010 by this dodgy company with an offer of a terrific ad package whereby for a monthly fee of £141, I would have front page listing on Google. The promise was that if after the first month I did not have 3 new clients on board, I would have the fee refunded. This was guaranteed by the sales person & too good to be true I thought. It was.
No new clients and despite repeated calls & letters to them, I have had absolutely no response from them, however they keep taking money from my Credit Card.
My first ad was placed in June and I told them that I did not want an ad placed in July as I was on holiday but it was placed and I was charged.
They also promised that every month my account manager would contact me with a tech report. This has never happened.
Please please please DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COWBOY OUTFIT!!!
I am now in dispute with my Credit Card company and my next step will be legal action.

This company is a complete and utter joke. Never use them. Neu Era Marketing approached me to take over marketing for my website.

I paid them £300.00 over the phone via card for a google adwords campaign which they messed up and did not even launch.

I have been writing to them on numerous occasions and they never respond. They have stolen my money and left me with nothing.

Never, never never never use Neu Era Marketing.

 HAILSTL at 17th Sep 2010, 02:35PM
I completely agree with the comments above.

We were approached by Neu Era in June 2010, advising that they were to begin with "calling from Google", which then turned into "on behalf of Google" and then "in conjunction with Google".

The company offered us a non-contract advertisement package on the first page of google for £120.00 pcm, which could be cancelled at any time. They also offered us 10 2 taglines, instead of the usual 6, to have our advert "always in the champagne coloured box on the front page" and also that we would appear "forever" in the map legend section of google contrary to whether or not we continued after 1 month.

What we actually got: -

6 taglines, all incorrect.
The google advertising in the wrong company name.
We were not in the champagne coloured box, but actually in the "featured listings box" which is located at either the top or side of the page, contrary to us being advised we would "remain at the top".

It also became apparent that yes we could cancel at any time, however not after the first 30 days, which Neu Era consider a 'trial basis' although as you may expect from reading the above, we were not advised of this either.

The company misrepresents themselves to other businesses in the area, and then does not provide what, in good faith, their customers pay for. Notwithstanding the above, and numerous letters to Neu Era requesting cancellation of the advertising and an intimidate and full refund, Neu Era have thus far failed to respond to any of our correspondence or telephone messages.

As manager of a business in Didsbury for over 15 years, you are all advised VERY STRONGLY to stay away from this shoddy, misrepresented, shark practising company.

 iconical at 15th Jul 2010, 02:45PM
hey claim to be working for google, i was sold a package for 1 month and after that i have canceled, i never signed any contract yet they have decided to charge my card again with no permission and a manager of theirs claimed i never called to cancel!
now i am taking legal action as they refuse to refund the money for an advert that wasn't even live!!!
i strongly recommend to stay away from this type of businesses and do a lot of homework before advertising online

 zaoui at 24th Apr 2010, 10:11AM
A company from Manchester claiming to get me at the top of Google for my classification. They claim to work for google rather than just using google's facilities.
They broke the law by cold calling me even though I am on the Telephone Preference Service.
