Have had a very similar problem.Started about a year ago with a company called Quality Care, now switched to CFP. Said I had ordered advert, despite the fact that our business does not advertise even in Yellow Pages. Still receiving increasingly aggressive letters demanding payment. Have notified trading standards, do not pay these people !!
I received an unsollicited phone call asking me to place an advert with a company called Quality Care. To get rid of them i told them to send me info by post. They then sent me a copy of an advert. I phoned them to tell them I had not ordered an edvert and not to contact me again. then i received threatening letters from CFP Foundation asking for payment for an advert which i had not requested or authorised. For 3 months I refused to pay £195. It was my busy time so when i received a threatening letter and indicating they would take me to court I paid them £195. The letters demanding payment have continued. I rang their office but there is no one answering the phone. However they are still sending letters. Does anyone know anything about them?
