just been had by them too, they offered me a loan, told me it was approved. then asked for bank details, i gave the long number on my credit card, i asked why they needed this and was told it was to confirm i had a bank account. i later discovered £55.00 had been taken without my authorisation.
This company is a shame on the industry, they ask for a fee upfront by claming to have the loan agreed for you. It is NOT guraranteed like it is sold, it will NOT be in your account within the 5 to 10 time frame they sell it to you as.
The system works like this, they take your £59. A sister company, Ralph Marlon, contact you for your details (why do you need to give them this if the loan is already agreed?) you send off your details and thats about it. You will get loan offers that are not for the amount you ask, are not at the 15.2% interest rate you have been promised and no loan ever materialises! Now, they do promise to give you your fee of £59 back but if you have a spare hour to wait on their 0845 number to complain to get your money back - or 30 days to wait while you write and they ignore the first letter - then this is the company to use.
If you are looking for a loan this is 110% not the company to use. They con and trick you out of your fee and will go to hell and back not to pay it back once your loan never comes through.
I have reported this company to both Trading Standards and Office of Fair Trading (as they granted them a credit licence to trade).
This company will answer your call very quickly if you are lookng to get a loan, however their customer services are a joke and you will not get your money back.
IF you still don't beleive the above, here is a FACT. Both Wentworth Direct and Ralph Marlon are listed as DORMANT at companies house! Which means they should not be trading!
