I was called up by Jay. He gave me an extremely good rate for anentire weeks worth of publication. I asked for a website and he sent me one. Not a very good one for number of publications but said that they are working on a better website and will be complete on 6 Aug 2010. Funny that it would coincide with the end of my weeks worth of adverts. I said I had been con'd before and needed reasurance. I asked for another 10 minutes while I check his company out more. He hasn't called back. Glad about that. Thanks to all those that have written in or I would have been con'd again.
I am afraid I got duped into buying an advert in the "south eastern observer". I have been trying to find a copy of this publication, and it really doesn't seem to exist. I can't believe they are getting away with so clearly breaking the law! I am most defiantly going to report them and find out what action I can take.
I was contacted by a very rude young man saying he was from the observer. It later transpired he was from the south eastern observer which, is an entirely different.He tried to sell me cheap advertising space.Was very pushy. I didnt like his manor. Then when I said I wasnt interested he put the phone down on me. I couldnt beleive it. I then got on to the internet and to my horror there are lots of adverse comments about this company and how they operate. I am so very glad I didnt do any business with this company. As they are not worth their salt.
South Eastern Observer. Is the same company as South east Observer.They change their name on a regular basis. They are part of JPC and Satyr publishing. They are all over the internet with really bad comments.See all the comments under south east observer. I have been contacted by south eastern observer many times. I have been constantly hassled,and have said I would call the police if they contacted me again. Their sales people are very rude and unprofessional.I contacted another gentleman who had advertised with them. He said he had reported them to watchdog, as his credit card was debited twice and he was still waiting for a refund.reading comments about this company is unbelieveable. How are they still in business.
