Very disappointed with this company.
My experience has been poor: I bought a full page editorial but the magazine not been distributed to the local area via door to door, GP surgeries, dentists, libraries as promised - in fact, no one I have spoken to locally has ever heard of area life magazine. In addition, I was chased for payment weeks after paying in full; I have phoned repeatedly but so far have failed to contact an actual human being; and I have never been sent a copy of the publication with my editorial in situ.
Overall, with my experience, I would recommend that people avoid Area Life Magazine like the plague.
I am re-posting my comment from last year as we again are still being contacted by this company -
I have been pestered by this company for over a year now, we were tricked into placing an ad last year in area life magazine by them saying it was already booked by someone else, which it was not! they then repeated the ad without authorisation from us.
As per someone else’s comment, the print quality and production was not professional, they said
it would go to homes (door to door) throughout the local area as well as tesco's and sainsburys etc we called a variety of establishments and none had heard of them.
I also have another call from someone who advertised with them asking my opinion as she was seeking legal advice on them!
I have put in numerous complaints and repeatedly asked them not to call out company, but still get at least one call a week! I would not advised anyone to book with them.
I have tried emailing/calling to speak to a manager at least 200 times over the last year and no one has ever contacted me back.
was being pestered by this company, checked 1471 and always rang from a mobile.
Also they have changed there name a few times!!!
They say they distribute 15,000 ive never seen them also they sent me a mag and started by ringing companies in mag and they were all totally unaware also said DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY as had NO business from it!
Also chased me for money and they were so aggressive!
