Comments:

Less than 2 months of owning this car and the brake pads are gone, metal on metal and a burining smell in my car. All this in the snow when you need your breaks most. Shortly after the run flat detector kicked in and I had to pull over. Luckily it was on the way to the service which set me back nearly £800 for 4 new brake pads and 4 discs!

Be sure to check the brake pads before you drive off if you buy from here. I was assurred a service of the car and neccessary checks had taken place, but despite the RAC checks I had clearly driven it off with very little brake pad left.

Also, I was told it had a full service history which I wasnt given with the car (even though it was allegedly in the folder). Having called up repeatedly about this and told someone would call me back, no one did. Eventually I was told they had searched everywhere checked the national databases and no service hitstory was to be found. I asked to speak to the manager, who did not call me back surprisngly.

After the cost of the service I was fuming so I called back again to speak to the manager, who this time miraculously could tell me that it did actually have a service and where it was. He told me he would would call me back and arrange to get this missing service history to me but never did.

At the time of buying The Staff at the internet car showroom were friendly enough and buying process was smooth. They did kindly fix a broken light for me before I drove of in the dark. But im not sure if anyone would have noticed if it had been light when I test drove it. The RAC test certainly did not pick this up. My experience with the internet car showroom is slightly blemished by what has happened.

In conclusion I can say that while these are not bad people, customer service is not the main focus of the dealership (after you have bought). The cars are cheap and they have plenty of choice, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. I will buy from a proper BMW dealership next time or if I want to take a gamble will buy direct from an Auction and save myself a couple of £k!
