Worst choice we made was using Basfords. In less than a year my family and I now have double glazing from Basfords with seals which have broke down and come away from the frames so there is a strong draft and heat goes out. The sealed double glazing units in two windows have failed and the centre voids are full of water from condensation. The beading that holds the glass in place has come away and the window hinges have rusted. The doors repeatedly stick closed or wont lock. The guttering on the conservatory roof has leaked since the first time it rained.
The install was very poor and despite our concerns at the time the (rude)fitter assured us all would be ok, which it clearly isn't.
Very dissapointed. Given the economic climate I would have thought companies like these would try to give better service.
My sister recommended this site, to help avoid such problems, just wish we had checked here first
