I suggest you think very carefully before using the services of Complete Garden Services. On the surface, everything appears to be well. A good introduction, followed by many positive, well spoken promises - most of which are eventually completed. However, CGS only undertake the basic aspects of garden work (Gardens, fencing and decking etc) and appear to outsource their "paving" working work to a National Company. This was not made clear to me at the beginning, and you may be thinking that that is the problem. You would be wrong! The paving/brickwork was superbly completed by Terra Firma Paving Ltd (Reading). CGS show many positive pictures on their website (Decking included). However, within one month of my garden being completed, all of the decking boards moved noticeably. The surface became very uneven as the "boards" began to rise-up. It became all too apparent that insufficient screws had been used and that the company appeared to lack any "real" experience in this field. Over 300 screws were retrospectively fitted to correct the problem. The fencing which was erected by CGS does still look good and overall my garden does look much better than three months ago. I strongly recommend that you do not use this company for any decking solutions, and go directly to Terra Firma for your paving/brickwork. You should also be aware that the pictures on the website may not be the work of CGS - hence, they are made to look good by others. I have never felt the need to provide negative feedback on a company before, but considering the amount of money which I paid to CGS, I felt other potential "users" needed to be aware of my experience. I did email CGS with five pictures showing the owner the "state" of my garden. I requested no further assistance from CGS in my email, but wanted them to be aware of their poor workmanship. He did apologise, but offered nothing else. Please think twice!
