Be careful when you buy from Bid tv, firstly they claim that at Argos for example the item would cost a given price. when in fact Argos dont stock that item at all. they have also done the same thing naming other high street shops and on line shops and they also dont stock that product. also the so called start price they use can in some case's be 4 times more than it is on the higt street, often there final price is still often higher than on th high street. I would question the statement made by many of the presenters that they are loosing money on the item also? when the item is still over normal high street price, if they are sincere and are loosing money on a item then would sugguest they get new buyers. if you do get a item a little below seen on th high street then there postage charges which are on average some 100% plus over true cost of posting. and i should know i ship small and large items for cars all over the uk and worldwide and i dont get the discounts that bid tv must be on from the post office and there carriers. will knock out any gain you have made. and dont think they are customer service inspired enough to lower the postage cost when delivering multi items to the same address on the sameday. as almost evry company does who cares about customers and customers coming back to shop again. no chance they will charge you the full postage on each item!! And dont even think about calling customer service or even writing to them because its a waste of time, no matter what your complaint you will always be in the wrong they are right and 14 day rtn well yea trouble is you will have to pay the full recorded delivery charge, when you get a refund, and i say when it will be minus the postage charge you paid when buying. I think that this company should be investigated without delay. in fact i have already contacted Argos and other companys they have used and informed them what bid tv is doing. they have more power and influence that us poor buyers have. my advise if buying from bid tv first check on the web and see what the product is being sold for at for example Amazon, argos, top shop or where ever. the other thing they have a habit of doing is saying things like buy it and sell it on via ebay, yet almost the next commnet is dont buy off others on th web could be fake or not value for money they are givin. Well i would say they cant have it both ways. and if you cant find that exact product being sold by other outlets then dont buy

"Buyer Beware" when using this shopping channel. A number of so called sterling silver items I had bought just a few months ago have now turned black while in storage, they had not been worn or come into contact with water or any substances. I rang Bid TV about this but they did not want to know as they were bought THREE months ago! Also a number of electrical items and t-shirts that were bought were very poor quality and low value for money. With the very poor customer service regarding refunds and poor quality offered my advice is "Don't go there"!
