Comments:

Saw their advert in the Telegraph for 36 flowering beauties to be delivered in 7 days. Checked on the website to confirm details and also ordered an additional item of 60 geraniums. This was on 1st June 2010. Expected flowering beauties to be delivered by 8th and geraniums by 14th. Phoned on 9th to a call centre in India to be told that there had been an unusually high demand and that the geraniums were no longer available but that the flowering beauties had been "picked" that day and should be delivered in the next 48 hours.They couldn't tell me who the courier was - either DHL or Royal Mail. They couldn't give me a consignment number either.Phoned"India" again on the 16th to try and cancel. I was given a reference number for my complaint and was told that someone would phone me within 24 hours. Needless to say no one did.I sent two emails - again no response. Tried to phone again on the 18th no answer on the phone and again on the 19th. The only phone being answered was the order line - surprise, surprise. Told them I was trying to reach customer services, the girl said sh couldn't help but finally agreed to take my phone number and said she would pass it on. Actually received a phone call on 21st - the first English voice that could be clearly understood. Maggie told me that she really could not believe what had happen and agreed it was an appaling service. She said that my money would be returned immediately and that I could have my plants free of charge. She was surprised that no geraniums were left but assured me that I would have the items by the end of this week. At time of writing this ie Thursday 24th June no money has been credited to my account and needless to say so far I have not seen DHL AND THE POSTMAN JUST RAISED AN EYEBROW!! If more people see this complaint and I know there is one other from Terry maybe we should club together and take out an advert in the Telegraph to warn people about this company as their adverts are still appearing. I won't give up on principle - but as Terry says this ends up costing you more money in phone calls. By the way - Maggie just works Fri - Monday so I can't contact her again until lunchtime tomorrow but as I'm due to go away it poses a problem and the plants - well if they are delivered they will probably be a shrivelled mess by the time I return. BEWARE THIS COMPANY.
