Comments:

This company promised they could fix my electronic speedometer which had a malfunctioning odometer. They charged me £80 for a 'repair' and stated in their diagnostic report that the malfunction they 'fixed' had been caused by my vehicle manufacturer's wiring loom being incorrect.

This was utter rubbish. The vehicle's wiring loom was in perfect condition and absolutely as it should have been (independently verified).

They did not in fact fix anything but returned my speedo to me in the malfunctioning state I had submitted it.

I sent it back asking them to fix it properly but on this second occasion, not only did they again utterly fail to fix it but also lost all the original settings. They returned it to me with a still malfunctioning odometer and also rendered the whole instrument altogether useless as the speedo was, thanks to them, now uncalibrated. It actually read 50 mph when driving at walking pace.

I tried to ring on several occasions but could not get past their sales staff. I was instead directed to their £1 per minute technical help line and when I eventually caved in and rang this, I was faced with a 'technician' that clearly had no clue what he was talking about.

I was refused a refund and so took the matter further.

I invoked legal proceedings whereupon the company simply refused to acknowledge me, or my solicitor.

I later had my speedo fixed properly by a reputable company for much less than £80 and it has worked perfectly ever since. This second company saw no signs of any attempted repair and were able to diagnose and fix the problem almost instantly.

Autotek didn't diagnose the problem, they feigned repair, they incorrectly blamed the vehicle wiring loom, they further damaged my speedo, they obstructed my complaint and then refused to acknowledge my legal representative.

The worst company I have had the misfortune to be involved with. They have no clue what they are doing and are utterly immoral.

I have informed trading standards via http://www.boroughofpoole.com/ and would suggest that anyone else that has been taken for a ride by this company does the same.

I have recently won a county Court Judgement against this company and they were ordered to pay by the 24th June. I knew that they would not pay as I believe that they have done this in the past. Has anyone sent the Bailiffs in on the owner of this company John Kazem. If so I would really like to talk to you to see if you got your money back. They already owe me £290 and I will have to pay another £100 to get the Bailiffs to go in and I am wondering if it is worth it. My e-mail address is ralph.peart@blueyonder.co.uk
If you have been sucessful in getting your cash back drop me a line and let me know how you did it.

Tanks Ralph
