first off you didnt have a recipt ?
second T-Cut does not have halfords name brand on it. Its Carplans.
You can get that from any garage at all or quite a few large supermarkets.
third off the till scanners are able to scan products from other retailers.
Were not thick, --- love it when people come in asking for a return, half the time it says comet or currys on the side.
Bought a bottle of T-Cut Original from this store - went to change it for a different bottle & was refused. Admittedly I had not retained the receipt however I was not seeking a refund merely an exchange. Was met with the Spanish inquisition at the till - how do we know you bought it here, who served you. The staff went to the trouble of scanning the code on the container before refusing an exchange after approx 10-15 min wait - surely scanning the item would have told them the item was from a batch in the store? Sent an email to their Customer Service dept and received a pathetically lame response. Well done Halfords you have lost a customer for life!!!!!
