i was with westbrookes for over 2 years and in that time ive had to live in 4 different properties as every property i have had has not been up to the standered of livin conditions.repairs was only made when the rent was due and once i had no downstairs lights for 3 weeks cos everytime they switched the lights on at the mains the alarm would go off.after 3 weeks of telling them they just sent a electrican to take the alarm fuse out so i had no alarm.i always made my rent on time even though the rent was expensive(£500 pcm for a 2 bed terrace).then when i finally had enough and found a new agent(after giving six months notice) when all the others problems started
1)ignoring my phone calls
2)snotty phone calls telling me my rent was due in 2 weeks time even though i was never late
3)told my new agents i was a bad tennant when they asked for a reference until i got my new agent to phone them when i was there they soon changed their tune
4)lied about rent increase tried to up the rent by £50pcm saying the landlord done it but when i phoned him he never asked for a increase westbrookes done it to try and pocket the rent
then when i left they did everything to try and stop me getting my bond money back.im in the process of disputing it with dps bond company
my advice would be find a different estate agents
