Bought a kitchen in May 2011, Its now August. still waiting for doors , wrong worktops delivered as well as being damaged. wrong door handle's. nothing resolved. on average of 15 calls a day just to be transferred or the phone hung up on me.
I asked If I could collect the missing items so that I could complete my kitchen, drove tor 3 hour to find there office closed down, Conmen don't waste your money DO NOT SPENT YOUR HARD EARNED CASH WITH THIS COMPANY
Whatever you do stay away from this Company.They sent me kitchen doors of various shades of white, damaged cornice, end shelves missing. Once they have your money they do not want to know you. I have lost only £560 as I shall now have to completely replace everything. Some people have lost a great deal more than I and my sympathy goes out to them. I bought a Kitchen from this company spending over £2k. This has been the biggest mistake of my life. I have parts missing all over the place and have half a kitchen now just sitting there. When you call through they just transfer you about then hang up on you. There doesnt seem to be a manager in the whole company and they just laugh at your request to have this resolved. DO NOT USE this company, you will be out of pocket and left frustrated with NO SERVICE at all. Worst company i have ever used in my life. They should be on the TV for Rogue traders.
I bought a kitchen on the 3rd March and I paid the consultant who came to see me £300. He told me that the kitchen will be delivered in 2 weeks time. The kitchen was delivered 3 weeks after and to my amazement, there were only 1/2 of the kitchen, the tap had limescale on it and there were no screws, no larder cupboards and the hob was not compliant with the current legislation.I rang the consultant and he said he was in spain and could not do anything about it. I rang the company and they keep putting the phone down on me. When I finally get to speak to one of them, after nearly 50 phonecalls, she said to me, that they will send the rest in 5 to 20 days time. She was very rude and when I told her that I will complain, she told me to go ahead as lots of people before me have complained and they are still selling kitchen. I told her about the hob which could really kill as the gas people would not install it. They said this range has been discontinued years ago, the woman from the factory replied, "well, what do you want me to do about it, people die everyday" I was shocked. To this day I have not received the rest of my kitchen. the fitter have left as they say they cannot wait any longer. I have paid them in full, £1450 which they demanded in cash on delivery. Now I cannot get through to them. I do not know what to do, I have worked 3 years to save this money and I have no cooker, and only half of a kitchen. Please tell me what I should do and I have even told them that I will go to the Trading Standard, they laughed hysterically. I have been told that they are based in Oldham and i have got the names of the proprietor and the manager who is a woman and the consultant who came to see me. If anyone is brave enough to take them on, I will provide the names and a picture of the consultant.

the kitchen company, Toall that have been stung by The Kitchen Factory, go to trading standards SAP, this company will do a moonlight flit, they say they are in Blackpool, wrong they are in Oldham Trading under the name the name of Maple Kitchen, Ellan Street, Chadderton Oldham, Ol9 6QR, I got this information from another kitchen company who do trade under the name of The Kitchen factory in Oldham, they are have nothing to do with this company, they are having calls every day from people who think they are with complaints, the guy i spoke to from this company was very helpful, his company is just round the corner from this Rough The Kitchen factory , also do not use either there fitters or the serveyrs, I had the serveyer and his mate fit the kitchen nothing is square including handles ,and every thing is damage i payed a total of £1700 and feel like a fool, Trading standards will be calling me next week, we need to move on this as he will so a moonlight flit and leave us high and dry
Like the vast majority of people here I have been turned over by this wretched company. My saga involving the Kitchen Factory has been going on for over 3 months. Firstly, the kitchen planner they arranged and costing £100 designed a complete `dogs dinner` according to my kitchen fitter who had to re-design the planners attempt. When the kitchen was delivered it had items missing and other items that were the wrong size and colour. Melamine items have chips. They are supposed to replace and send missing items within 5 to 20 days. They won`t. When phoning the company you are put through to `customer service`, a department that does`nt answer the phone. When you phone the switchboard to tell them this an abrupt woman says "we`re busy, phone back later" and puts the phone down. Once they have your money they don`t give a toss that you have an incomplete kitchen. Use this dysfunctional company and you will end up paying more than if you used a reputable company. Buy cheap pay twice. Avoid like the plague.
I purchased a kitchen from Kitchen Factory, Kitchens Now Etc Etc and can't get them to finish it,months have passed. Does anyone know who the real company registered name or number, who directors are etc.
it is sad that we have to go thru this when we have fully paid these people! i bought the kitchen from them for £1250, the delivery was fine but once the fitters began thier work it was clear that it wouldnt be a quick one. the size of the units where wrong and so we cant fit the kitchen we havent even got to the oven or the ectracter, we have called them many many many times but no joy. we did aventualy spoke to some one called karen that told us they will contact me to arrange for the units to be swaped but nothing happened. we have now been told that they cant find the paper work and they just put the phone down. i really dont know what else to do but keep calling them. i urge any everyone not to buy from this company as they are a fraud! i wish that this does not happen to any one but unfortunetly while this company is running it will!!!
My 78 yr old mother bought a kitchen from this company before Christmas - over £1000 . Due to the bad weather her very professional installer couldn't get to her until yesterday and having prepared the kitchen, opened up the wrapped up kitchen units. His comment " after 25 years in the business, this is the worst kitchen I have seen". No holes drilled for doors, pelmets and dorrs stained, cams don't fit etc, etc .... He called the company yesterday over 16 times and they kept not answering or putting him through to "customer service"who then hung up.
After speaking with Trading standards, she is writing to give them 14 days notice to refund or we will be taking them to court and starting legal action.
As a resuilt of this she is having to go out and order a new Kitchen from a more local supplier who is highly respected in her area.
We will be reporting them to Trading Standards in Blackppol and also dropping a note to Rogue Traders and Watchdog as well..
As someone else mentioned, how is this company being allowed to continue trading....

Purchased a kitchen from this company for £1657. The people who called to the house were fine but when the delivery dept phoned they were always very abrupt and rude. When the kitchen was fitted it appeared I had been sold a "wireworks" which should have been a fitting for a corner unit. That cost £150, plus ordered a matt sink (extra£50) and got shiny one. All the doors are marked with dirt which won't come off, the end panels are all scuffed and I got a larder unit instead of an oven housing and ended up with a gap between oven and top door which exposes the white shell. Had two sets of handles, one had 17 handles the other 16 and I need 18! Also, the measuring was inaccurate and a 600 wall unit had to be cut down to 400mm so, I have a 600 door I can't use and need a 400mm. I have continually phoned customer services but after 2.18 mins the phone rings out. The switchboard girls won't hold a conversation with you, they just put you through to a line that goes nowhere. I have spoken to Consumer Direct who advised me that I had to write to them stating the Sales of Goods Act 1979 and giving them 10 working days to respond. I am not holding my breath but I will see them in court if they continue to ignore me. Failing that, I will drive to the unit in Blackpool with my husband (when he returns from Iraq) and confront them face to face. I am disgusted that this group of companies is allowed to continue trading and feel we all need to pull together to get results. Anyone wishing to discuss please contact me - jude577@hotmail.co.uk

beware - the units are not finished and need jigging and drilling, the two we opened were both chipped, no instructions. Factory 'customer services' and I use the term loosely, hung up on me 12 times. Saleperson lied (on tape) units are not made in uk but china, they should remove chinese labeling before sending out !!! poor finish on doors. Units unfit for use and I have reuested refund however reading other comments this is unlikely so if I do not hear from them by monday am then I am taking them to court and asking for a 7 day refund. If this does not happen I will start bankruptcy proceedings.
