If a customer asks if a car is ready to drive away if they like it because they have an hours drive to get to your garage, it is poor form when they arrive to make them wait half an hour while you retrieve the car from the body shop and then present them with a dirty car that needs a new alloy wheel, has a tyre with a crumbling side wall and a steering wheel that looks like it has melted. We turned up with cash to buy it and drove away to spend our cash elsewhere.
