I have a 2003 MGTF which has been running really well for some time now but whilst i was on the motorway the other day the temperature started to fluctuate. My local garage suggested it was the head gasket.
I found www.headgasketdemons.co.uk on a car forum and took it down to them. Really friendly receptionist. Turned out it was a faulty thermostat. Lucky i took it to them and there were honest as i would have been charged for a head gasket by the other garage.
My car overheated in the snow as i was waiting in traffic. Found this site www.headgasketdemons.co.uk in a lucky google search. Couldnt beleive my luck. it was collected repaired and delivered in 4 days. Was slightly more than originally quoted but they called and let me no before doing anything else. worth the money for a job well done. Thanks guys x x
