My experience flying with Cyprus airways was awful. Due to the severe weather conditions we landed in Brussels airport on Saturday 18th December, from the moment we entered the gate in the airport the Cyprus airways crew were no where to be seen.
We were still in Brussels airport Monday 20th December we were given 3 euros for food from the airport staff and a blanket to sleep on the floors.
During this time we were promised different flight times several times and every time they were canceled. After 3 days of sleeping on the airport floor with no contact or information from Cyprus airways, Brussels airport organized an 8 hour coach journey to take us to London.
I feel that the level of care given to all the passengers by Cyprus airways was awful, we felt demoralized and disrespected by the airline as all we wanted was accurate information from them. Had we known that we would be in the airport for 3 days we would have tried to get on a different flight but every 4 hours a new flight time was displayed and then canceled very disappointing. I will never fly with Cyprus airways again.
