I had known Katy for a couple of years, so when I needed my website doing I approached her. We met, discussed the requirements and then she emailed me instructions on what to do with regard to changing the email from the existing provider, X provider to A provider. I read them, was rather confused by it, whilst it was why I contacted Katy to do the IT! Had i been able to do change from one email provider to another then why approach Katy?! Katy phoned me and we went through the instructions together, and she then said to delete the existing email account and I did click to do so, but immediately clicked cancel, but it was too late, and my existing work email account was deleted and all contents! Naturally I was extremely annoyed and when I asked Katy if she knew what she was doing she just began to umm and ahh. Katy didn't accept responsibility for her incompetence and then stammered that I'd not advised her that it was X provider as she thought it was Y provider! Oh no, when we met I advised her of which email package I had and when I spoke with her on the phone again advised her of the email provider; clearly, she hadn’t made notes. When I asked why she told me to click delete, she just ummd and ahhd and effectively said she didn’t think it would delete or something equally bizarre!
I’m unsure of whether Katy has IT and web design qualifications, or if she is simply self-taught.
I had provided Katy with a couple of very good leads but never received a thank you for doing so.
No, I wouldn’t recommend KEW Creative to anyone.
