I was hired by Brickcraft Home Extensions (Konrad Beeson) to perform work on a couple of properties. After the work was completed and invoices submitted he disappeared and started another company at the same address called Smith-Hatton Ltd (also now disappeared).
Despite legal proceedings he folded the business to prevent paying any debts almost immediately after the jobs were finished. Viewing the details held at companies house it is apparent that he has been doing this for years.

Seemed professionally initially, but went downhill from there! Work 10 weeks behind schedule and have now walked away from job having taken 90% of the payment, with around 20% work left to complete. As well as leaving us without a liveable home, they have also walked away without paying the sub contracting trades. The company we contracted with is now being disolved to prevent legal action, and looking at the records for Brickcraft on companies house it seems this isn't the first time it's happened as there are companies with similar names that have been disolved.
Work performed is of questionable quality (e.g. electrics don't comply to building regs, items agreed in spec not done, door frames built different sizes and don't fit the doors, windows not secure).
Overall the work is of questionable quality, way behind schedule, and walking away from the job without completing it or paying subcontractors is utterly unprofessional.
Do not use them, or any other firm with a similar name or with Konrad Beeson involved.
