I ordered a personalised jigsaw from this site as a farthers day gift, i paid for express next day delivery but it never turned up.
I phoned them numerous times and every time i was told its been sent you should get it in the morning, my dad waited in all week and still nothing so i phoned again this time i was not being nice, the lady finally owned up at puzzles direct gave me a number for the company who actually makes the puzzles ' I thought they did it themselfs' anyway I phoned this new company and they said that puzzlesdirect have not paid them for the jigsaw and that they will not send it out until they do.
After a lot of calls and messing around they finally paid them and it was sent out special next day saturday delivery, so again i told my dad please wait in its defo going to be there, so he did and all that came was a note from royal mail saying he needs to pay £10.70 to get the parcel because not postage has been paid. I believe the other company has paid but this is a royal mail mistake so i will not name them.
anyway today is now day number 11 and he still has not got the jigsaw, so ive made some more angry calls and have managed to get both companys to coff up some cash, puzzlesdirect gave me £15 refund and the other company has given me the £10.70 to retrieve the parcel. which they will claim back from royal mail.
All I can say is stay clear of buying any personalised gifts from puzzlesdirect.co.uk and go through a well known site as there are many of them out there.
