I am the owner of Platinum Legal based in Coventry. My company is not connected in any way to Platinum Legal Solutions. The person making the complaint has entered my company's webpage by mistake!

These guys ripped my company off for a grand.
They were supposed to collect a debt of £4k and demanded a grand up front. From what I can gather they did nothing in the way of tracking down the debtor.
I was contacted unannounced by this company in Jan 2011 and next day visited by a representrative of theirs Named Mark however i learn from scouring the internet it appears the name of the rep probably doenst exist. these people obviously pray on the vunerable as i had lost near on 50 k to a company that had gone into liquidation there rep insisited for a fee of £4000 they could guarantee to collect i wanted time to think it over but he insisted i had wastred his time and would not leave until i payed reluctantly i did so..
This is were the nightmare begins as it appears that when a company goes into liquidation you cannot collect the debt as the debt dies with the companhy i have also looked at comments form other companies who have also under the same pretense been ripped of under the same terms. i ahev since spoken to yoirkshire trading standards who have confirme they are aware of this company and are working with lancashire trading standards i cannot believe i have been had by this company i can accept losing 50k but my sanity will not let me accept what these fraudsters have done to me , i smelt a rat when i amde call after call and they would not return it..
i have trading standards visiting myself on 15th July 11 i have referred them to various sites i have found about this company, if anyone in leeds or anywhere else in the uk has been had by this companmy please feel free to leave a message here so as i can also point trading standards in the direction of this site.. they would not give specific details of a case they are investigating but a serious breach of their licence has been committed, i do not know what licence they are referring too though i am sorry.
I feel absolutely drained with the whole process however this as stipulated this company prey on the vulnerable.
