Use this company at your peril. I had a stove fitted by them a year ago and they had to come back 3 times - good of them I thought initially - to remedy problems they caused including a) using the wrong cement so black water poured down the walls inside and out staining the walls. b) using the wrong mastic (?) to replace the wrong cement, which melted and poured down the outside walls damaging beyond repair the indian stone patio just laid and the two sets of folding oak doors, and staining the walls inside and out. c) replacing part of the external chimney configuration to stop it happening again.
They repainted the walls and also replaced the chimney part. I have had to paint the outside of the oak doors and cill black gloss as the oil destroyed the finish.The building regs officer has now condemned the fitting as the external pipework is incorrect - it needs to be double skin pipe, and Paul has promised many many times (when I have phoned him from different phone numbers!) to come and rectify the problem. I have said I will pay for any materials and I will even pay him labour, however, he does not arrive despite making arrangements and sounding very eager and positive and helpful.
I cannot use my appliance until it is properly fitted. Please have yours checked if you have purchased or had fitted by this company. If you are considering using this company - Dont!!
