what a bunch of cowboys..when buying a suite you are treated like royalty...when a problem arises (and it will if you buy from this place)you are treated with contempt...i bought a 3 and a 2 for a couple of grand and my old suite (which was head and shoulders above what they delivered to me) poorly made with poor materials and the cushions seem to be filled with cotton wool or old newspapers buy at your peril i've got my teeth into this mob and i'm not going to let go...if anybody from instyle are reading this yes its me from greenock with the saggy cushions and creaky frame...

When I first visited the London Road showroom, the sales agent advised that the particular sofa that I was looking at would take up to 14 weeks for delivery so I went away had a think and went back in 20 mins later to which the same sales agent told me that while I was away she found the exact one that I wanted in their warehouse and would be delivered in 2 weeks. I signed up, finance was in place and she drew a plan of what the sofa would look like with regards to it being a right handed 2 seater L shape sofa.

When it was delivered, it was a 3 seater that was delivered instead. As I wasn't in, my partner signed for it and it wasn't until I got home that he double checked with me. We immediately went to the store along with some photographs and the same sales agent agreed it was the wrong sofa and advised that they would have to uplift and we would not be able to keep it and sent an email to their customer service department who would be in contact with us....keep reading!!

The customer service department phoned us and said if we were happy to keep the sofa we could, at no extra cost. However I said I would keep it, on one condition - as the sofa came in 3 parts, the middle part looked different from the other 2 as it was saggy and wrinkly and looked worn so I said if they could change it then I would keep it. She said she had send a technician to look at it and take pictures first. Two weeks later I was advised that it could not be changed as the technician could find no fault with it so In Style offered to uplift the sofa, give me some loan seating and my order replaced. I asked if I could keep the existing sofa until the new one was delivered but this was not possible as my order would not be processed until they uplift the sofa and it would take 14 weeks for the order. I was obviously unhappy about the situation and I asked if I would be offered anything as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, she said no. The girl's attitude at customer service was absolutely vile, she said that I could part ways with In Style and go somewhere else if I wasn't happy. Eh whose fault is it that the wrong sofa was delivered?? She said that they had offered to uplift it as if it was a huge deal and they were doing me a favour. I was actually going to go through with re ordering the sofa as I love it so much but she advised that I would still have to continue with my payments as I would be borrowing one of their skanky sofas while I wait for my delivery but I think I'm just going to give it a miss and take my custom elsewhere.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I, along with the other reviewers have obviously taken time out to write these reviews because we feel so let down! You have been warned!!
