Abused and ripped off! The driver got lost on home delivery, rang and abused us. Never turned up so we rang customer services and complained. We were told we would get a call from Burgh Heath Asda. Nothing, no call, refused to re deliver.
Then they had the balls to take the money! Complained twice again and have been promised a refund in about a week. Will never use Asda again, Sainsburys and Tesco are streets ahead.
RIPPED ME OFF- I added two packs of pop priced at £2 each last night to my delivery for this morning. After they were delivered I realised I'd been charged £3.65 each an overcharge of £3.30. I rang CS who informed me that prices can change & I'd have to lump it. Unbeleivable other grocery websites inform you if the price will go up on the delivery date, but not Asda, I wonder why? I will definitely not be using Asda again!
Asda online delivery charged me 100% extra over the advertised online price for a number of items. First & last time I ever use Asda online or otherwise. I returned the entire delivery to the local store for a full refund!!! We have Waitrose, Lidl, Sainsbury & Tesco round here, so Asda are big tatty losers!!
Ordered a DVD set (Spooks 8) online from Asda at an attractive price of less than £13. waited 2 months for delivery during which time I received several emails saying they were struggling to get this from their suppliers. Anyway last week I received an abrupt email telling me they have cancelled the order as their suppliers cannot get it. I looked on the Asda website and they are still selling it but at nearly 3 times the price. Their suppliers therefore can supply it but Asda is not prepared to sell it at the price they accepted my order at.
I will not be buying from Asda again

Further to the last comment about Asda overcharging in store. I've had similar problems in the past when the cashier wouldn't correctly process a reduced to clear item.
My advice for anyone trying to get their money back, is to contact their head office and insist they send a gift card with the amount overcharged plus compensation.
Instore another matter. Make mistakes on the tills and make the inconvinience the customer. Put six pints milk carton and two for 3.00 ice creams through the till and woman asks for money, told the ammount asked for is not right and she said the till is right. Holds hands out for more money. Purse has 8.30 in change to be fair and all but 70p is with the casheir, more money she asks for. Daughter left the store confused and upset and had to put the chocolates back to find later the reason for the confusion is the woman scanned the milk twice.
It wasnt a big shop, surely easy to see the problem, but she just says the till is correct. She made a mistake with the prevous customer also trying to overcharge and had to correct that also.
Rang the store and after some initial confusion as to where the receipt was point out the error. I did say when a customer says the ammount is not right, surely they should call a supervisor or on such a small shop of three items at lest check for errors, she didnt and over charged two customers in a row.
Asda now say we have to go back into the store to get our money and as disabled this is not easy.
Daughter was only young and got confused thats why she when told more money kept handing it over, she did say there was a problem but apparantly the till is always right according to this cashier.
Wasnt it a certaim comedy couple who said the computer says no, well asda tills say no and inconvinience disabled people. Could they refund us by post as they can now see the error, no I have to pay 5.00 taxi there and back to get a 2.00 ish refund.
Nice little earner for asdas there from this one cashier in my opinion as I cant see myself being able to afford to go back.
In city dvd store recently and saw boxed set dvd for 50.00, found it online at asda for only 17.99. Also noticed cd for 12.00 onlne for 6.56, also xbox game 25.00 in store got for 14.97 so definately worth a look at their entertainment website.
I dont trust many online sites, but this one did what it said and they arrived within a few days, so thumbs up definately.
I order from asda as I find that the delivery service is really good. It has also saved me money as when I used to go Shopping I would see things on the shelves that I did not really want but I would buy them anyway. Online shopping is the best.
I order my normal fortnightly shop on the 21st oct and recived a conformation e-mail
But today no order - no delivery - system issues?
When you order it is passed on to central processing and then sent to the store, but when this goes tits up - they told be they could not deliver - not even pick and send it in a taxi No!
have it another day? no chance why do i want this if i wanted another day i would have booked it another day.
Asda dont want to go out there way for you they aint intrested, they even had the cheek to offer me £5 ponds off free delivery - Why would i want to order again what an insult i have now washed my hands of them they dont want to know i took my business to Tesco and finger crossed ot comed tommorrow
Asda may be cheap but they also do cheap customer services bewaire!
a terrible place poor
customer service.
I go to sainsburys now as this place is terrible.
I once asked the person at the customer service desk to ring up my purchases-the lady said no,but a minute later there she was putting someone else through
what a shower. If you buy reduced
food they put the item through
at full price sometimes.poor,
-cds dvds games are too dear.I could get milk for a quid long before they started putting some items down to 97p.But have you noticed there
is hardly any of it there so you have to pay £1.53 instead
And Asds roll back prices cos they just put them up for a few weeks and put them back down to what they used to be
good rollback asda.
