Placed an order with Flowers Direct via their website in the morning for flowers to be delivered the same day. Received a voicemail in the afternoon asking me to call them back on 0844 9943458. Called back - no answer. Called the number on the website and was on hold for half an hour before someone answered. Spoke to Tammy who said the florist did not have the flowers I ordered. It was now 3pm (difficult to order elsewhere for same-day delivery). I asked for the name of the exact local florist they are using for my order, but she refused under the "Data Protection Act" apparently. I said that's ridiculous as it's my order and I'll know who the florist is when they deliver the flowers! Asked to speak to a manager and they were ALL in a meeting! She was rude and patronising and she actually hung up on me then cancelled the order without any further discussion with me - no alternative offered or anything.
