Verizons customer service is awful. i sent a cell phone to warranty thinking it was a problem under warranty and they bill me for $300 because they said the problem wasn't a defect. I pay for the insurance, but since their employee said to send it in under warranty i am out the money. this is just a shady way of doing business and I did try to allow them to fix the problem, but they refused to. It also should be said that they tell you to send the defective phone back within a week, but proceed to tell you a week after they receive the phone that it isn't a warranty issue. All of this and I still pay a monthly fee to cover accidentals. They chose not to send back, but to get a quick $300. And for a refurbished phone at that. Pretty bad business practice for a company whose mission statement is "Expect the best customer service at every turn from our employees. " Very sad a company this large is willing to lose a customer over something one of their employees told a customer to do.
