I was a Gems TV buyer for 3 years until GEMS TV changed their management. Selling created stones, playing stupid cirens, and basically not the quality I had been used to. Presenters were not allowed to be themselves any longer, even had to stand, so I quit buying from them, especially after it was buy a pair of earrings and get 1 pair free, which I didnt receive. When I complained, they said they didnt have time to waste going through my letter of complaint. So in temper I sold all what I had bought on Ebay.

Now Gems TV is under Steve Bennets management again, and low and behold a far better, friendler service. I emailed in to tell them what a poor service I had received and even got a call from Scott Worsfold one of the presenters. Lovely guy , very helpful and friendly. Talking to him, I got the feeling they were all really relieved to have a change of management. I have now made 3 purchases, 2 arrived and 1 on the way. All I can say is the prices have come down, the quality of the jewerelly is lovely and I am not sending any of it back. Its a joy to watch again, and excellent value for money, just shows a family run business cares, whilst it was on the stock market, it was a money grabbing organisation, thats whey they sold fake gemstones, something I wasnt impressed with at all.

Good luck to GEMS TV for the future, back to a friendly atmosphere and great prices.

I have been buying from 'Gems' for a number of years - however recently I have noticed that the quality is not what it was. I have had stones fall out of rings and faced the cost of replacement. I'm not as confident as I used to be about 'Gems' purchases. Sad...

I had terrible problems with my delivery of earrings from Gemtv. First excuse was adverse weather conditions, half an hour later the courier changed thier mind and said they had tried to make the delivery, but a female at the property had refused to acept it. The second time, they said they had tried to make the delivery, but ciuldn't get an answer, at a brown door. Most doors here, in this town are brown. the third time I had them delivered to work, at a time and place conveniant the Gemstv, they now say at my conveniance. I made a complaint about the service which was sent (they say to the courier). In the account of the details I had by e-mail, only about half my complaint was being delt with. When I sent a return e-mail, the custer service person was out of the office, that was back in February. Today 5th April I e-mailed again, and the person was out of the office, again. After another e-mail to the custmer service department, I did get a phone call, but it was as if the person was reading from a script. My side wasn't taken into consideration at all. They hadn't bothered to contact me about my compalaint. I am now waiting for a letter. I would never use them again.

I have bought lots of jewellery from Gems tv and have been very happy until recently. I have had to have a ring reset as the stone was loose and recently have lost a stone from another ring . When i contacted them they were very helpful offering to refund, replace or repair the ring. When i told them i wanted it repaired as i had had the ring resized they then said they could not help me as i had changed the "integrity" of the ring. (this is company policy so beware) As i could not wear the ring until i had it resized it was impossible to lose the loose stone when it was in the box! The quality of the jewellery is not what it was and i will not be buying from them again. they also had the cheek to suggest i took the ring back to the jewellers who resized it as the stone was missing.
