In a word useless. After getting windows fitted in my living room the fitters had to come back three times as one of the windows is leaking water in whenever it rains. Also the windows dont seem to be sealed properly because the room is always cold even with the heating on and an electric fire. I would not recommend them to anyone as I am presently sitting on hold waiting for someone from repairs to answer the phone and this is costing a fortune because its an 0845 number. They would be quick enough to answer if it was the sales team, so why not repairs. Avoid them like the plague.
I called weatherseal on 0800041041 to get a quote for my windows as during this winter my curtains were blowing in the house. I spoke to a very polite helpful chap in glasgow and he arranged for a designer to call round to give me a free plan and design and told me my quote would be with me for 1 year so I could shop around. A couple of hours later a smart professional man came to my house and told us about Westherseal - showed me a sample and gave me a quote. I was looking for the brown on the outside and white on the inside. He was a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed the visit and that night myself and husband had 2 other quotes from local companys. The next day I called weatherseal back and went ahead with my order. My windows since have been fitted and I am highly delighted with the finnish and I could not fault anyone. I would recommend Weatherseal anytime.
I had weatherseal windows put in my house in november 2009 and can honestly say i have been delighted, from the minute i went online to the salesman to the installation. until now i would never write a comment online until now!!! on monday 18th jan my cat had been very unwell and had to take him to the vet.at 3am in the morning tuppence my (cat) was very sick and i went down stairs and opened my front door to let tuppence out in the garden .when i went to look my front door i coulnt get my door to close properly i was panic - stricken as i live along and didnt want to return to bed with a front door unlocked until that point i have never had the need to call costomer service before but thought i would telephone the freephone number and leave a message for them to call me in the morning well i was most relived and suprised when a lovely young lady said hello weatherseal i explained my problem and she said not to worry and said that i had just put the handle in the wrong position and she would help and guide me it just took a couple of minutes and i was able to lock my door easily and sleep sound and safe that night. I never even asked the girl her name but i wanted to say what a company fantastic
I got Weatherseal to come out and do the guttering on my house because I was sick of it getting clogged up with leafs and having to re-paint it every year when the paint cracked. I got the plastic-style ones that Weatherseal do and its great I can just wipe them down when I need to because I got white ones and they look very dirty quickly. I’m very houseproud so this was perfect for me!
Where to start? Entered a competition (mistake I know) to win free windows and doors. After several marketing calls I agreed to let the salesman come out to price for what it is I would be looking to win. Almost 2 hours later he finally gets out his tape measure. I have four windows and one door - first price £10,665. I laughed. Well with your discount code I could do £6.5k - again laughter from me. I have two sash and case windows at the front of the property, which are non-standard size, so I did expect they would be more expensive than normal tilt and turn windows. Guys manager asks to speak to me directly - "what will you pay me for what you want since I haven't sold anything today and I need to sell £20k per day to reach targets". £3k I tell him. Everything signed on the night. Surveyor round next day to measure up correctly. Heard the square route of nothing since - this was over 4 weeks ago. Made numerous calls to their call centre - no response. Get a phone call yesterday from a representative offering me a £500 discount voucher since I had been unsuccessful in winning the top prize - I ask if this is on top of the £7.5k discount I had already negotiated off my order and she HUNG UP on me. Glad all they've had so far is a £50 deposit and will be cancelling the order. Total shambles of a company in my experience - though they do offer a quality product which is slightly annoying as they do NOT have the after sales service to back this up.
