HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF YOU'VE BEEN WRONGED.
STEP-BY-STEP
1. Lodge a complaint with Birmingham trading standards on 0121 303 6031. (only your local trading standards can ADVISE you BUT Birmingham Trad Stdrds know about EJP and the more logged complaints at Birmingham, the bigger theyll hit em.
2. Contact your LOCAL Trading Stdrds office to report EJP and they'll also advise you HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK (Sale of Goods Act Etc).
3. CONTACT THE WEBSITE that sent EJP your details (i.e. your parts request site 24/7.com or 1stchoice.co.uk or breakeryard.com etc).
Tell them that EJP, the supplier they recommended to you is sub-standard and explain why.
Ask them to stop recommending BAD suppliers or they'll end up on Blagger.com too for refering unscrupulous companies. Remember to tell them they'll likely get GOOD blagger.com feedback if they strike off the baddies. (Refer them to Blagger.com for a complete dossier on EJP).

IF WE ALL DO THIS,
1. EJP HAVE NOBODY FEEDING THEM VALUABLE PARTS REQUEST LEADS
2. TRADING STANDARDS HIT THEM FROM THE OTHER SIDE.
3. WE GET OUR MONEY BACK AND SOME JUSTICE

Avoid this company.
They phoned me (about two weeks ago) via findapart to say they had an orange label MAF (in fact he said he had lots of them!) I paid and stayed in all the next day waiting for delivery and guess what - nothing arrived. I phoned them and was told by Tracey that when they went to get the part off the shelf it was damaged (thought they had lots of them!) but they did have a green label MAF and yes it would definately work! Weren't too sure about this so I phoned a friend who knows about these things and no it won't work that's why have different coloured labels on them! So, I phoned easy jap parts back (after about 5 minutes) to cancel and was told the courier had just left with the green label one! The guy on the phone said he would refund me straight away though and I agreed to send the part back as soon as it was delivered. Yes - you've guessed it, no part and no refund so I phoned again today and Tracey said she would refund me as soon as she had put the phone down. We shall see!

THERES NO REASONING WITH THESE PEOPLE.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Im a large wholesale importer of Jap vehicles and had the misfortune of dealing from this company last year. I ordered a fascia that surrounds a car radio. I discussed in great detail with Tony my exact requirement - a stereo surround to fit in the dash - not a dashboard. He fully understood. You guessed it he sent me a WHOLE dashboard EXCLUDING my said radio fascia. Incredibly the dashboard was in dire condition had even been hand painted RED around the vents and was unuseable - even if i had wanted one!
I called and Tony said arrogantly that I had ordered a dashboard and I'd got what Id asked for! After much reasoning he suggested I pay to post the whole dashboard back and he'd "see what he could do".
I felt unconvinced and palmed off. I explained that it would cost a furtune and he'd never sell it to anyone else because of its awful condition - I offered to email pics. I just wanted my fascia ASAP for a waiting customer.
He didn't want to know. He just wanted to wriggle out of it. I don't believe he ever had the fascia in the first place.
I didnt risk losing a further £50 on postage for nothing. I swore Id never deal with such a cowboy again. And my 35 Jap dealers dont either now. I made sure of that.

Recently I submitted a breaker search for a steering wheel through 1st Choice Spares. Unbeknown to me Easy Jap Parts are on their books and responded by calling me offering a steering wheel. I didnt realise it was them and ordered 9am agreeing next day delivery. Days passed by. I rang the number at 3pm friday to track my order and to my horror it was Easy Jap Parts. As I suspected the person who deals with tracking had left til monday. I explained my customer was collecting the car the following day hence agreeing only to next day delivery earlier in the week. I asked for a refund since I needed to source one elsewhere by the next day - guess what?! - suddenly accounts had also just left for the weekend...
I still dont have my steering wheel...just excuses.
I doubt i'll ever see it - or my £65...
But ill make them pay this time...watch this space.

Please read the "positives", hmmmm you will find that they have been written by Easy Jap staff, note the commonly used "hey man" starting line etc and the very poor english and sentence construction. Note also that all the positives seem to be written during office hours???? The remarks concerning the staff as honest, frioendly and caring, now that contravenes trades descriptions as Tony and his motley crew of thugs and ex-cons are most definately NOT caring...NOR trustworthy at any level. DO NOT TRUST ANY POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!! PS lets see how long it takes before another Easy Jap staff member leaves a "positive" in the guise of a satisfied customer. Heres hoping to the day that EJP parts goes bust, pps check out their new website, oh the lies!!!!

Hi to all, WARNING!
I have bought a steering wheel and was not delivered. I had called many times before to get my promised refund . I had called 4 times and told it was done there is no money returned into my account. But Tony the owner said it had been done the day before and that i should wait 3/4 days for the transaction to go thru. Well surprise surprise ....nothing. If i where to call again he just says the same thing over and over again. Its been 3 weeks now and no money. i have contacted bank, watchdog e.c.t
I advise very strongly do not deal with this company. I have to be very carefull with my chioce of words or it will not go up on website. You can only imagine the real words i have for this guy. Another blagger ''pims'' is taking him to court Why not join us in the bbc watchdog and court proceedings? Take care Rob

Ordered a part through gateway.EJP sent the wrong part.I returned it for a refund. Three phone calls later (twice they said they would ring back)I got a refund only to find it wasn't a full refund, they had taken what they considered was some sort of handling/dismantaling charge.I ended up £35.00 out of pocket.

EASY JAP PARTS!!!!
WARNING!!!

Bought a bull bar from them that was damaged and worse than the part I binned. Tony at EJP said send it back for a full refund and plus refund of postage for the return. Guessw hat when they gotr the part back they said we can't refund you as the part was returned damaged??Hangon I returned as it was already damaged. The courier company said I should get photos of the damage from EJP, have I received any pics, of course not EJP can't even reply top emails let alone take pics, thats way too complicated for these cheese monkeys. This pond sc m have ripped me off over £100, I implore all of you to do the following make a complaint against EJP by going to the Trading Standards, Office of Fair trade plus make a report of theft to the Birmingham City police, and finally get in touch with the media, gp to www.bbc.co.uk and email Watchdog regarding the practices of EJP, the more complaints they receive the more they will actually investigate this company. I've been on the spoof EJP website and it really does tell the truth about EJP, go and have a look. Finally lets orgainise and pay Tony and his monkeys a visit and we will show him a new storage space for his brilliant spares, very alimentary. Oh yes and lets see how long it takes before a positive is left, by an EJP staffer.

Absolutely awful. Dont touch this company with a barge pole. I went online on the advice of a friend whose neck I have recently wrung and decided to order a car part online, specifically the driver door to a RED Toyota Starlet. To get parts for a Starlet is near to impossible so you can imagine my joy when 247 spares said they had the part. Did they heck! I paid £80 for a door. It was NOT red. It was green. It was stripped to the bone. Fuming, I called and demanded a refund. They said no problem, all I had to do was send it back. I contacted a local courier service and they said that: a) I did not have to pay to send it back because I had not made the error; and b)that it would cost £80 to send it back. 247 did not owe up to the error, quoting a reference I did not make. So now I am £80 out of pocket! SO DONT GO THERE!

"Heres an example, on March 14th Nos4r2 left the opening comment, "I used an online part saearch engine to find a jap import part I urgently needed..." His comment is a negative but note the sentence structure and importantly the SPELLING of the word search."

Sorry mate but my appalling spelling is down to the E and the R on a keyboard being next to each other and my fat fingers :D . I've only ever been on here once 'til now.

Some of the others however are blatantly EJP employees. Spelling doen't mean a lot but syntax does.

 Nos4r2 at 16th Nov 2007, 06:42PM
Check out Easy Jap Parts new and HONEST website. Pass the web address around the net, let others know just how **** this company really is.

 EasyJapParts at 15th Nov 2007, 04:45PM
I have already left a negative comment about Easy Jap Parts, and in fairness I have read both negative and positive reviews of EJP. What I find very worrying is that some of the positive thumbs up comments appear to be fake, possibly placed by EJP staff themselfs. Heres an example, on March 14th Nos4r2 left the opening comment, "I used an online part saearch engine to find a jap import part I urgently needed..." His comment is a negative but note the sentence structure and importantly the SPELLING of the word search. Now on the 18th March Rambo left a positive comment which started with " I used an online part saearch engine to find a jap import engine I urgently needed ..." Now is'nt that a coincidence? Same sentence structure, same mis spelyt word. So...everyone please double check the so called thumbs up comments about this company, check the date too when a positive was left, as for some reason a positive is left near enough the same time a negative is left. I suggest to anyone using this site to make a judgement on EJP, just go with the negatives as the positive comments run a very high risk of being fakes!!!! PS lets see if a positive follows this comment?

Bloody Great! Wish i'd found this place before MY nightmare with this AWFUL dishonourable company. Read what happened to me and take extreme care when spending YOUR hard earned cash on what SEEMS like it could be a good deal..

End of september Tony contacted me via findapart to tell me they had a headlight unit and indicator unit in stock for my car (Mazda 323).

As i live in the middle of nowhere i RASHLY asked them for a set of good brake discs for my car too. Bad mistake. In fact bad mistake overall with this terrible company. I also was promised a speedy delivery however they took two days longer than expected necessitating me wasting time waiting for them and taking time off work.

And when they arrived? Oh surprise surprise, despite them having my car registration number they sent the wrong indicator unit. And the brake discs they sent made EVERY mechanic i know laugh. like a drain. The brake discs were worse than the ones i had ON the car.

Oh yes next i had to endure the endless phone calls, tracy promising to ring back (oh what a surprise that never happened!)...Eventually tony told me if i sent them back i'd get a refund (hahahahaha). I sent the parts back, on a 5 day delivery, at a cost of 12 quid.

Several phone calls and a full month later (i should've seen it coming really).. tony tells me that the parts haven't been received back to them and if i can show them a signature i can have a refund.

I'd sent them standard parcel which meant 5 day delivery and guess what.. no signature.... can you see where this is going oh hardworking folk that don't need to be ripped off?

I'm going to be contacting the post office to find out if this company has a history of "losing returns" (and i bet i can guess what they're going to say)and then i ALSO have to try and reclaim cash that intrinsically i know i've had ripped off from me.

AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE HALF A BRAIN. BUYING GENUINE PARTS WILL END UP COSTING YOU LESS TIME MONEY AND STRESS.

I've only lost 100 quid to this poxy THIEVING company, but my heart goes out to those of you that have been ripped off for more than that. If anybody has any practical ideas on how to obtain cash back, or has an ongoing trading standards claim, please get in touch (djtopaz@hotmail.com) as i would love to help you strengthen your claim.

I could not be MORE disgusted with not only their appalling customer service and blatant lies, but the brazen THEFT of customers cash speaks volumes too.

I suspect this won't be the last complaint about them. Absolutely terrible dishonourable company with staff about as useful as chocolate teapots.

PLEASE PLEASE.. HARDWORKING PEOPLE... DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CASH. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I know alot of people who have bought from easy jap and NO ONE has a bad word to say about them. easy jap are the best!!!

EASY JAP PARTS!! Avoid this company at all costs. Like many others I have ended up contacting Trading Standards regarding the appalling lack of customer services and blatant disregard of Distance Selling requirements. Two faulty/damaged items and no refund.
Just because an item is sold 'Second Hand', the consumer still has the same rights. Don't be fobbed off.
Complete lack of communication and appalling service which I believe will end up in court action to resolve. You've been warned, a company doesn't get this much bad press for no reason.

 ceebee at 31st Aug 2007, 10:31AM
i ordered a boot lid and bumper for my prelude. the boot lid turned up late with a dent in the top and heavy scratches. the first bumper they sent was beyond a joke, the second was the same but a differnt colour, and the third bumper i am still waiting for 2 weeks later!!!!. countless phone calls get me no where. i urge all people to avoid this company at all costs!!!!!!!!!

 robnrats at 30th Aug 2007, 04:43PM
Avoid this company at all costs.
Charged my card for a part they knew was not in stock and then said "we don't do refunds". Anyway I got the impression a refund would not be forthcoming so got County Court Judgement against them, which was very quick and easy as they didn't bother replying to any court letters.
Now for the interesting bit, I asked for a Warant of Execution from the Court (request to send bailiffs in) and spoke to the bailiff in question and he said "yes I collected a cheque from them today and their cheques are usually ok" So a bailiff visits them regularly enough to know them and collects cheques for outstanding court actions, need I say more?

Excellent company to deal with. Bought a engine from them in May 07, had the engine fitted at a cost of £1000 used it for a couple of months & noticed the head started to over heat. Contacted them & arranged a return AFTER the holiday season was over this was me on holiday with my car - i.e. they allowed me to continue to use it over the summer rather than be without it for 4 weeks while they investigated.

Just had the engine returned & they have replaced it with a Brand New head . Customer service VERY friendly & efficient. *******

 sizzeler12 at 5th Aug 2007, 02:33PM
Hey,
Sorry to everyone who's been ripped off by all these companies on here claiming they have parts for their cars.
I bought car parts for my car through this company called easy jap not because they told me they had parts for me but because they were cheap and had good knowlege. Actually a friend referred me to them and i phoned in to order with them. After 5 mins of my order being placed i discoverd this web site It took another 1 days which is reasonable amount of time for me to take delivery .
Mind u, i can not fault this company in any which way they have been great i wish them all the best for there future I sure will be going back to them for my next part.
Goodluck everyone

 knight at 29th Jul 2007, 01:39PM
!!!! DONT TOUCH THIS COMPANY !!!!

They sell you parts they do not even have but are quick enough to take your money....

I ordered a brake caliper 3 weeks ago, they sent a caliper for the wrong car, called sent e-mails etc and eventually got the part it was for the wrong side...

loads of phone calls and a lot of messing about later i was promised i would have the correct part within 2 days - It is now 2 weeks later and still nothing.

Have called company every day to be fobbed off with different excuses and promised to be called back - which never happens ( i dont think they know how to make an outgoing call!!)

They informed me it had been sent with a courier, I asked for a number to contact the courier and see what was happening - They only have a mobile number which is constantly switched off !!! (aye right!)

Today after a number of feeble excuses I finaly lost the plot with their pathetic excuse for customer service so asked for a refund - which they refuse to give until I pay to return the incorrect part.

I fail to see why I should pay for their error and will be cancelling payment with my card company and it will be up to them to arrange collection of the part.....

All in all I find this company terrible to deal with, they make loads of promises and make all the right noises but when it comes down to it they are just useless and never deliver; either their promises or the correct goods..

 teuch1976 at 13th Jul 2007, 11:54AM
Absolutely brilliant service my toyota lucida 2.2 turbo diesel engine packed up at 11 am yesterday and i called this company. He had the car at 1p.m and it was back on the road at 5 pm the very next day with a new engine
More like a pit stop than a problem.
I would recommend anyone to use this place he is not expensive either and will pull out all stops to get the job done.
