WEATHERSEAL DID MY CONSERVATORY LAST MONTH,AND I WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THE END RESULT.AFTER READING SOME NEGATIVE COMMENTS I WAS BECOMING CONCERNED HOWEVER I FEEL I SHOULD EXPRESS HOW THOROUGHLY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED. RIGHT FROM THE FIRST CALL I RECIEVED,THEY WERE POLITE,HELPFUL AND MADE ME FEEL AT EASE,I NEVER FELT PRESSURED AT ANY POINT AND WAS PROVIDED ALL THE INFORMATION I NEEDED. THE FITTING TEAM WERE FRIENDLY,HARDWORKING GUYS WHO DONE A EXCELLENT JOB,COULDNT BE HAPPIER SITTING IN MY NEW BEATIFUL CONSERVATORY.

moved house last year and needed double glazing.got three companies round who promised me no hard sell.each company stayed in my house pushing and pushing for a sale for more than two hours.my wife and i gave up on the windows after the pressure of these so called national companies.then about a month ago we seen a TV advert offering half price windows.sceptically i phoned the free phone number to be greeted by a very professional chap named sean.he spoke me through the promotion and got a designer to me the same day.my wife was not happy i made the call until a smart young man (Ryan) knocked on our door.he let us see samples took some measurements and left us with a quote and number to call if we wanted to go ahead.not once did he try to pressure us into buying and he never over stayed his welcome.next day after speaking it over with my wife we called the number and within the week we have new double glazed windows.thanks weatherseal

I was initially thinking that I was going to have bad time with weatherseal when a couple of seals broke on my windows that id had fitted like 5 years ago (because of the horrible weather we had over xmas) but when I phoned the customer care people they got it sorted right away and sent someone out pretty quick to have a look and fix the windows. I forgot I had the garuntee so I didn have to pay anything else which was good after Xmas coz I could not have been able to give them any money if I had not been under the garuntee. Better than paying for someone to come out and do the work agen!

I have recently had my roofline replaced by this company! It is the third time I have returned to weatherseal and after reading comments on this site I was aprehensive as to whether they had gone downhill in some way compared to the exceptional company who had fitted my doors just two years ago and my windows the year before that! But no, contrary to these stories, Weatherseal have again provided an exceptional service from quote to completion just as before. Every person I have came into contact with has been very helpful and I am again a very satisfied customer.

After a phone call a few weeks ago i decdie to get weatherseal out to give me a a quote for 7win and patio door and whwn the chap got here he told me that they had a sale on with up to 50 off and when he give me the price i was delighted and placed a order. My windows got fitted a few days after the fitters were lovely and they even helped me put my curtians back up. I am delghted with my new windows, my house is much warmer and i cant hear any noise from outside anymore.

I was surprised to find that Weatherseal designed and fitted kitchens after a friend of mind recommended them when I commented on her new kitchen, so I decided to get a quote. After filling out my requirements online I was visited by a sales rep (something I don’t normally welcome) who gave me a quote that was higher than the price I’d had in mind. I was expecting to be pressured into signing up for something that I didn’t really want, but I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to negotiate a cost that turned out to be lower than my budget. The kitchen looks fantastic and we are so happy that we’ve had it all fitted before Christmas – my wife can’t wait to have all the family found on Christmas Day!

Weatherseal (aka Supreme O Glaze)

Previous owner of my house had double glazing installed by the above. Glass not thick enough. Frames badly fitted. Supposedly put right before my purchase. I'm sitting in a wind tunnel but the small print in the contract says I have to pay £100 to change the name on the contract before anyone will come out. Surely it's the product and the address that count, not the occupier's name? Anyway, 2 minutes to change the name on the computer cannot possibly cost £100.

I recieved what seemed like a great quote from this outfit. I later discovered that what they had offered me fell outside of the building standards for replacement windows. The sales person made absolutely no mention of this or of any planning permission that may be required. I am now currently trying to cancel the order and have spent a grand total of 3 hours on hold trying to get through to someone in order to cancel this order. I would love to get my hands on the man in charge right not. Im sure that all members of the company walk around wearing stripey vests and mask!!!

The Dreaded M25 Strikes Again!
I received a garbled message from what I took to be from a teenage member of the crew saying "we are stuck on the M25. I'll phone you back when we get on the move". From then onwards nothing has been heard from them since. If anyone spots a white van with 'Weatherseal' painted on the side going in the direction of London on a Wednesday, please do not attempt to stop it as it might be coming from Romford to Aldershot to repair a bodged kitchen window fitted by a Weatherseal trained bodger from Romford. The van is easily recognisable with the words beneath the name 'If a job is worth doing it's worth doing properly'!

These people exploit the old and the vulnerable. They somehow managed to approach my 89 year old father last year and got him to sign up for an unnecessary and over priced porch. When we approached them about this (he was totally unaware he had signed on the dotted line) they were sarcastic and unpleasant. He was in and out of hospital during the last year of his life (he died last month) so they had trouble contacting him to arrange the building work, so sent him a particularly impersonal, legal and threatening letter. Thankfully because he was in hospital we intercepted it. It would have caused him a great deal of worry to have read it as he was a totally honest and honorable man. Its shame the same can't be said of the people who run this company.I don't know how they sleep at night.
Sadly my father didn't live to use his porch and to add insult to injury we had to travel over 200 miles to finish the wretched thing.

We had double glazed windows fitted by this company and have had many problems with handles falling off windows and doors, for the first few years they replaced them with out a problem, they are now saying that we have to pay for the handles to be replaced we were told by one of the people who replaced one handle that they were having a problem with this type i am going to a solicitor to sort this problem please do not use this company as they do use inferior products and you will get no after sales care

I have just had the front of my house done by Weatherseal after having the back done 2 years ago. Both times i have been delighted with their service. Although i have had quite a few sales calls - this stopped when i asked to be put on their DND list. I even got 5% cashback for using their 'cash for life scheme'. Anyway i was really surprised to see such bad press about Weatherseal but you only ever normally hear the bad stuff. I think ordinary folk like me should make their own mind up. Im sure the complainers are in the minority. Thumbs up from me!

I had Weatherseal double glazing installed in Dec 05 and it is still not finished satisfactorily. The front and rear doors will not close unless you first push the door sideways against the frame then force it closed. They have ignored my letters and calls. The originall installation was rushed through in less than a day and they left holes that you could fit your fist in down the sides of the doors. They did come back out to repair this, of a fashion and in the INstallation Managers own words he was "appalled" at the way my house had been left. However, they are not interested in sorting out my complaint or rectifying the problems. I would strongly advise anyone not to use this company.

We have had our Weatherseal Double Gazing for 10 years now and have had very little problems, until this last year. Jan / Feb 05 we informed the Aberdeen Branch that our front door and side panels were cracked, also that the on one side of the patio door, the locking device didnâÂ?Â?t work (leaving the house insecure).
It took 5 months for them to arrive to fix the front door problem, only to find the panels were all the wrong size. 5 months later they returned, to find the panels were white and should be brown. We are still waiting.
What is more concerting is the back door patio, we have heard nothing at all. I find this all very alarming to think such a reputable company can string people along like this.
