The last few years ive advertised with this company and every year there has been a problem. The lastest one really took the biscuit. The sales staff really do try to mislead you. I was sold a full colour advert quarter column for £769 vat, and for me this is a huge commitment. When the proof came through it was in mono and when I queried this they told me the deal was no longer available and it would cost me £1250 vat, so I cancelled. A few weeks later I get a call from them saying we noticed you cancelled and asked why, I explained they said ok we can offer you the mono advert, plus yell.com 118 247 and an seo page for £950 plus vat, I turned it down and said it was too much money. They came back with £520 vat for all the above, I then proceeded to rip their arm off as this was an amazing deal. HOWEVER.......... the rep turns up starts punching is calculator to the tune of £950 again, im like wtf.... I said to him you said £520, etc etc. He then said right your budget is £600 lets see what I can do for you, so offered me the same size add but the other way up so shorter across but longer down, im thinking ok then THEN he said he couldnt do that one but he could only do the small box add and I still didnt get the 118 247 for "so called free inc in the package bullsh*t" Im still waiting for the proof 3 weeks on..... Im beginning to hear very bad things about this company, and I think the sales staff are as bad as politicians and they dont give a fu*k about you either, once they have your order, they off to fleece the next victim.

I used to respect yell.com, but not anymore. When I didn't renew my entry I was offered a free website that would be optimized to appear at the top of the search engines Ask, MSN, Google and Yahoo. No-one can guarantee such a claim. They tried to mislead me so I no longer trust them.
