I have advertised through this company It was fine but they took £276.00 from my account on the 17th March 2012 without notification. I did not owe them the money and was within my contract period and had paid it up in the first year with 12 months to run.
I phoned them and there customer Service representative was awful to me when I tried to request an immediate refund (Bearing in mind it was My Money they Took) this is from An email I recieved from them eg Lorraine Hoyle, I Quote"Had you have been polite , then you would have probably had 1. Your refund sooner, 2. Less stress on your part, 3. An apology."
"that fact that I have refunded you you should be satisfied with".
I was polite to the point and I did not swear, I was however Upset they took funds when my contract was clear and I had already paid them
So as a customer I do not feel Impact Publications are a good company to use.
And I would not recomend them to any one. I am still waiting for an apology My advise if you used them check contracts and cancel standing orders they set up without your knowledge and give 6 months notice as it is a rolling contract
I am the owner of a scooter mobility business and also an advertiser with this company,I have read the 2 comments and although I agree the company took money from me upfront for my ad on the local medical centre, I have had a very positive response from it and it wasn't a lot of money. Impact then offered me a second ad at half the cost! (which I agreed to immediately) I found the company to be most helpfull and they published my ad very promptly. I think this is a good company to deal with and i'm very happy! Well done Impact!
