Just to make my bad experience with Healthylivingdirect known. Bought something off them for my elderly mother; they took the payment from my credit card. Several weeks later when item had not arrived, contacted them; the item was out of stock and they did not even have it! They had not notified me of this and yet had taken my money, keeping hold of it while it earns interest for them, for weeks! If they do this to enough people, they must be making a lot of money on interest - is this allowed legally? From my experience, other internet companies do not take the money unless they have the item or until they are dispatching it.
Bad business practice - even worse customer service. They were rude, not bothered and non-apologetic. They said item would be arriving to them in 2 weeks time and yet they were quoting a further 10 days for it to arrive to me from when they received it! Why would it take so long to send something to someone in England from an address in England? In my opinion, people should be very wary of this company - remember, they take the money from your bank/credit card even if the goods are not in stock; they do not let you know this and have terrible customer service. I would not recommend to anyone. On top of all this, they are persistently still sending me their junk mail in the post despite requesting constantly not to have anything else sent to me by them.
