What a joke! - they take your order and then 3 weeks later when you follow up to see where your order is - they tell you that everything you ordered is out of stock and discontinued and would you like to order something else instead?
Then when you go back to their web site to see what else they have - you see that the products you initially ordered are still listed as available!
DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!

In May I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks. I chose this company because I was not in a hurry to receive them and because I could wait the postage was free.

They quoted 4-8 weeks delivery with a likely 5 week delivery. When I chased them the shoes appeared to be on back order. They then said my credit card details would not go through. I tried telephoning (number unobtainable). I tried the Live Support on their website and it was never available. I submitted several requests to their automated customer web pages. Nothing.

They emailed me a couple of times and then stopped so I cancelled my order and have ordered via Amazon from another German supplier.

Jestel = Zero for Customer Service.
Don't waste your time.

Oy! If only I saw this website before ordering! I ordered a pair of Birks back in April... they did not arrive until early July. To their credit, they did not charge my card until the sandals actually shipped. After wearing them once and having a major sore on my toe, I gave up on them temporarily. Having recently looked at them closer, I see the sandal is faulty. I emailed the company last week and did not receive a reply. So I emailed again. Today I tried calling the number on the website. As someone else stated, it does not work. I found an alternate number: 011.49.431.83215. I tested it out and it does appear to connect to a machine during off hours. I'll try tomorrow when they're open to see if anyone answers. Frankly, after reading the reviews here coupled with my own experience, I don't trust them to give me my money back or replace the sandals if I send them back to them. Most likely, I'll have them fixed in Canada or the States. Lesson learned: only buy from reputable companies!

I will NEVER order from this company again. The company has ZERO customer service they do not answer e-mails or their contact forms on their site. I have contacted them around 15 times with no reply. In addition to this there is no PHONE number to contact them they provide is false. Very dodgy company indeed. I have been waiting for my birkenstocks for such a long time even though I paid an additional 33 euros for the express airmail option and still the shoes have not arrived in the promised 10 days. I have sent a letter to the Bonn Police. I wonder how much longer I will have to wait. This is my first fiasco with online shopping I would not have expected this from a German company. If they are not going to work properly why do they even bother. Shame such a shame.
