Being a former employee of Land Of Leather, and just after reading through the below complaint, once again i am having to ask you, if you have a comlpaint, be honest with it and lets not stretch the truth please. First of all as a company we would never ask a customer to phone CHINA!! This I actually find to be laughable!!!! I really dont know what customers hear when we are talking to them. It is true that the general public are the worst people to deal with. I fully sympthise with you in the fact that your sofa and table were damaged and that the items were slightly late, although you were offered to have the suite delivered when it was well within its lead time, you would have also been offered to get the table delivered to the store for collection when it comes in, do you seriously think that I or any other member of the staff go into work and think ... right, today im gonna be as awkward as i can to customers.

You are all under the impression that once we get your money we dont care about the sale, that could not be further from the truth, in reality we do not get a penny of commission for that sale until the sofa is sitting in your living room!!!!! We have limits that we have to work within ourselves. We would rather have an easy day than have to answer the phone to irrate customers, once again I find my self having to say to you lot to please read your invoice, it contains every bit of information that you are claiming that you were not told, we have to explain to people everyday the standard terms and conditions of the sale, to people who dont read the contract before signing it.

SO BEFORE YOU COME ONTO THE PHONE COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING, READ THROUGH YOUR CONTRACT. I dont know about you but if I was handing over may it be £400 or £4000 I would want to know what a sales person is making me sign.

Rant Over
