Harvey Furniture wot a joke that place is.... Sales guys Craig was to interested discussing nightout in a local pub than actually listening to what was being said to him about prefered delivery date.....
Placed order on the 13/9/10 at harveys in Ayr for a dining room suite. Was advised 4 weeks delivery approx...Delivery company apparently is Harkers based in Sunderland who seem to dictate to Harveys customers when they will receive their delivery and not the other way round to accomodate the customer. Received a call on 08/10/10 advising delivery on 21st October (baring in mind that they acknowledged the goods on the 5th Oct) advised that this didnt suit due to work and requested a delivery date for a friday said would call me back still waiting!!! Called them again on the Tuesday looking for answers as to when this was being delivered advised it would be the 21st October now still didnt know suit however if fridays werent avaliable then we would keep the date of the 21st Oct and call me back, now here is the classic the boy at the end of the fone hung up and cancelled the delivery instead of enquiring about another date and coming back to me.... Lodged a complaint on 13/10/10 with the Customer Services/Complaints wanting someone from that team to call me back however received a call from the store manager Iain (most ignorant man you have every met) basically wanting to know what was the problem and that harkers dictate the delivery and not the customer... Now tell where did customer service go to in this company!!!! So to date im still waiting for the customer complaints team to contact me to get this resolved....
Please tell there must be more than just me that has dealt with this place and had the same experience!!!
