I used to work for this company, the unit based in Reading - I personally think that the way they recruit, the way they "train", and the way they treat their staff is terrible. I was offered a job by a friend of mine who had just started there.
The Sales Manager at the time, a chap called Ryan, was a total plum to put it nicely. I arrived for my interview quite high (i have grown up alot since then, was 16 at the time) and he knew, still employeed me. As for the training - "here's the script, here's the Thompson Local book, crack on"
seriously. We used to drink port on shift, a bunch of 16-20 year olds getting drunk while at work phonig potenial customers!!! It's terrible. I would never think of doing that in my current job, i don't think many people would. But at zenith it was fine.
lso, any time the customer wanted to speak to a manager we were told to take the details and tell the customer they woould get a call back asap - Ryan used to throw the paper away everytime.
just argh, don't use these people - there are a lot of good window and door sellers out there. Zenith are pants.
