Why are they registered with FENSA I have had trouble with them, when I complained they said it was not them as they do not cover the North East
Last summer this company, charged my partners elderly grandmother £1000 to re gutter her tiny kitchen extension. They said she had rotting joysts, even though her extension was newly built and charged her to replace these too.
On the bill they charged her for scaffolding- £300 when at no point was scaffolding EVER put up. She's had to get out a bank loan to pay for all the work.
Virgo got hold of her after she got a window replaced with Safesytle UK. They must be passing on "Ideal candidates" to Virgo. So they can pray on them and harrass them.
They used the same two male salesmen threatening and bullying techniques to get her to agree to the work.
She has reported this company to trading standards, who stated they are aware of VIRGO HOME IMPROVEMENTS TARGETING ELDERLY PEOPLE!
After the company found out she was "on to them" she has been harassed with abussive phone calls over the passed year! even after receiving a letter saying they will remove her from there calling list she received another yesterday.
This company is discusting and disgraceful and needs SHUTTING DOWN NOW!!!
they asked for a down-payment upfront, then didn't arrive to complete the work when arranged.
then, when they finally arrived to do the work, it was shoddy, and not as they quoted. they didn't finish the job, and no further payment was made to them because of this.
they use bully boy tactics, and scare the vulnerable.
call consumer direct for advice if you have been stung by this company...... otherwise, stay clear...they are cowboys.
This company cold called on my parents home and sold them 16m of new plastic fascia and gutters , did a poor job and charged them £3000.00 up front.
They didn't need any new fascia , possibly only new gutters ,sales man out of order completely just preying on an elderly couple aged 80 and 85 so unfair .
