Just back from ACF Bristol. Total waste of time. The finance was pre-approved. We got there and was welcomed with coffee and a 1 hour wait for someone to see us. There was not a great deal of choice there but found a car we liked. They offered us £1800 px which we were happy with, £350 cashback and said they would fuel the car for us. Nice people we thought. wrong!! First they said to ignore the prices shown on the cars as they were for yes car credit customers not ACF customers. After many requests they finally got around to showing us how much we would pay. I nearly fell off the chair. The car after px and a £200 deposit would be £5995. Now I am no mathamatical expert but when I looked closely I noticed that the total amount payable for the car would have been £16445. This was not including gap insurance or any warranty. The APR quoted on the agreement was 49.9%. Seems a bit higher than that to me.. Beware!!!!
i visited the bristol branch on the 8th of july and was told i could have a ford focus zetec but they wanted a deposit of 550 i said i would have to wait till the end of the month. On the 2nd of august i went and drove away the car. On the 5th august i had a call from them telling me to return the car as the finance had been declined. but i was away on holiday then i had numerous phone calls and was told somebody would pick the car up on monday morning at 7 am on monday an enforcement officer turned up i think this is the worst company i have ever delt with. I didn't get any reason why. PLEASE DONT HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM
