Please please read & listen to the advice below. Its all completely accurate! I rejoined what I thought was the (previously) very good tiscali at my mothers house, over the web, only to get a call 15mins later from the parent company, TalkTalk, rubishing the Tiscali team & telling me to opt for them. I refused & politely told them I'd stick with tiscali. 4 weeks later, the Tiscali/Talktalk subcontracotr came, 9 HOURS late (7pm, Saturday evening) & installed the internet. Took 2hours. Told me the TV would be connected remotely 2 days later. 3 weeks on, my mother still has no TV. My mother, 81, single carer to a very severly mentally handicapped son) has spent many many hours on the phone trying to resolve & now they have cut her phone line. When she calls from a friends house, they deny there is a line problem. Also, she has been paying 30gbp/ month since nov 1st & 40 days on, has no phone, no tv & a non functional internet.
Truly, the worst company in the UK. Just google the name. Truly awful.
